We Ordered for the first time on Friday August 24, 2018 at 12:10pm and it was also the last time we ever order anything from this place. We ordered via Uber Eats, a chicken sandwhich and poutine, the sandwhich was good but the poutine was the grossest thing we ever seen and almost ate. It cost us $32 inluding driver tip and it was worth $0. the french fries were all like burnt dry, hard enough to break your teeth. The few fries that weren’t hard were so uncooked that they looked and tasted raw.
The cook should be instantly fired for having the nerve to serve that to any customer. But then again, perhaps the restaurant is complicit as we ordered at 12:10pm & they open at 11am, unsure how you end up with old, dried up/recooked french fries at 12pm when you open your restaurant at 11?
We have no idea what their cooking procedures are or if anyone double verifies the food once it’s cooked, but these fries had to be sitting there for a very long time , but given that the restaurant just opened before we ordered, we have come to the conclusion that these fries were from the previous day and the restaurant not wanting to lose anything, they just recooked the fries over again, which will result in them turning out the way they were and then sent to me. Either way, this was the first and last time we ever order here.
Even though the sandwhich was good, given the fact that they can do this over a few french fries, imagine what they can do over meat? Do you think they will throw away meat that has turned green or just cut the green out and pepper it a little more in order to save a few $$. They really do not deserve our business or yours as they didn’t even have the decency to respond to me after my original complaint which was ( as soon as i received my order) Surprizingly, Uber emailed us apologizing & refunded our credit card for the whole order stating “that this was unacceptable”.
Had the restaurant bothered to at least reach out to us with an explanation of some sort and/or just send me back a fresh poutine with a valid explanation, We certainly would have never ever post them on here. But given the fact that they choose to completely ignore us and that Uber ended up apologizing for this restaurant who refused to do it themselves speaks volume.
We were going to suggest to y’all to not order french fries or poutines from this place, but given the restaurants’ behavior in choosing not to respond to us, given that the fries appeared to be recooked and given the time of day we"were made the order (within the hour of them opening the restaurant) which obviously makes it appear that these french fries were from the previous day and recooked on the day we ordered.
As we stated, if they can do this over a few french fries, who knows what they will do over more expensive food like meat. Also, given that they choose to ignore a first time customer with very valid complaint, think before you order from here “ IF MY MEAT IS ROTTEN, WILL THEY REFUND ME OR REPLACE MY ORDER?” Answer is neither, they will ignore you as they ignored us.
STAY AWAY!! Lots of other great restaurants to order from! Cheers...
Read moreWe drove 10km to this restaurant, enticed by the promise of late-night dining as advertised, stating it was open till 3 am. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the reality was starkly different. It appeared there had been an oversight: the restaurant had not updated their operating hours and had mistakenly left the 'open' sign illuminated. We were met by a staff member who informed us that they were only accepting online orders and, disappointingly, dine-in was not an option – even if we were to place an order online.
This situation was not only inconvenient but also a letdown. While we understand that mistakes can happen, such as forgetting to update business hours or operational details, the lack of flexibility and accommodation in this scenario was particularly disheartening. As customers who made a specific trip based on the information provided by the restaurant, we expected some level of understanding or a solution that could cater to our needs at the moment.
This experience has left us unhappy and highlights the importance of accurate communication and customer service in the hospitality industry. It’s crucial for businesses to ensure that their advertised information is up-to-date to avoid causing inconvenience to their patrons. Moreover, finding a way to accommodate customers, especially when they arrive based on the information provided by the establishment, is essential in fostering goodwill and a positive...

The ordering process was extremely confusing. The guy taking our order put the toppings that I wanted on my crunchy chicken sandwich in my fiancé’s Philly cheesesteak. The process was so confusing that we had to start all over again.
We finally got to place our order properly and chose and paid $3 to upgrade our fries to a poutine. The other guy who was making our food had his legs crossed off to the side, looking down on his phone, and finally got up once the guy who took our order told him what he had to make. The food promptly came shortly thereafter.
The Philly cheesesteak we received was a small, which was correct, but it was literally the same size as my hand, with barely anything in it. I wish I took a picture of how sad looking it was. The chicken sandwich we ordered was tiny and nothing like what we were expecting. Again, it was so small and sad. This was $11. We ended up receiving fries instead of the poutine we paid for, so we had to go back. He took back the fries and put the cheese and gravy on that same batch, so everything was sitting on top.
All in all, we spent $30 for dinner, and we feel extremely disappointed and cheated. The wait for the food was longer than the time we took to eat it. It’s a shame because the flavours were there, but for the money, it’s not worth it even in...
