Ordered by phone this evening as the mobile app was not working (they have a promo of free delivery if you order online, conveniently timed that mobile app not to work huh?) Anyway, received a call from customer service saying that I need to come down and meet the delivery guy at the front door of the building. Came down, no delivery guy. Waited for a minute and no one showed up. Called customer service and was placed on hold for 13 mins. The delivery guy called and asked where I was and told him waiting for him at the front door, he hung up. Saw him walking from the building beside me and he apologized that he was at the wrong building. I looked at the receipt and it was the correct address. I'm not sure if he was expecting me to walk up to him at the other building where he parked but all this is happening in the freezing cold, as I was wearing jams and shirt. I paid and tipped him still, the moment he had the tip on his hands, he started saying why I was rude. I was not rude, the fact that he made me wait for more than 15 minutes in the cold, I think I already passed being rude, I was upset and angry at the same time. Customer service picked up finally and I told him what happened, he apologize and said that he is going to call the manager to speak to delivery guy. And I said, that's it? He said that yeah, pizza pizza already apologized to you, do you expect a credit? I was offended and hung up on this customer service rep. No I don't need a credit or coupons, your apology is worthless because you're not the one who was inconvenienced, I need to hear back from the manager. Zerooooo customer service. Read moreAs someone who has worked in cs field I am so disappointed with the customer service here. As a matter of fact I have no complaints against any workers except for one! I was over at the store around 12 am in regards to a complaint against the noise that is coming out of a machine right next to our house (which is very unusual as it’s creating vibrations to the building walls) I went there to ask the worker if there was any solutions to that as we fear it might be dangerous for the tenants!! I spoke to a girl who works part time and I was absolutely calm and while I was trying explain our concerns etc , until one of the guy employee came towards me, being absolutely rude for no particular reason. We weren’t demanding her or any of them to do something about that situation, we were trying to see if there was any possibility of turning that sound or whatever machine off, but the fact that he came in interrupting being so rude was absolutely uncalled for! I asked him why he had to be so rude and he kept arguing and being rude. It was uncalled for and overall left a bad taste in my mouth! I ordered a pizza that was not cooked according to the instructions, and when I showed it to the delivery driver, he acknowledged the mistake and replaced it. But he went to the store and complained that I have disrespected the food ( this is the same guy with other reviewer who mentioned below, Middle aged Asian guy with glasses). However, after I complained about the order, they blacklisted me from ordering again.
If you look at other customer reviews, you’ll see a pattern of complaints about the quality. It seems like they’re cutting corners on ingredients. The manager here seems incapable of handling customer concerns, which is disappointing, especially considering I’ve always had great experiences with this Pizza Pizza store and other locations. I’ve been a loyal customer in this area for six years, but ever since new management took over two years ago, the quality and service have drastically declined. I hope the head office takes note of the issues here. This wasn’t a problem with the previous owner.
