I recently visited Shalom Ethiopian & Eritrean Restaurant was absolutely blown away. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance and the music was warm and inviting. The owner(Saba) was incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring I felt welcome and cared for throughout the meal. She was knowledgeable about the menu and gave me an excellent recommendations. I had Genfo with Ethiopian traditional coffee Ceremony—it was phenomenal and mouthwatering! Every dish was beautifully presented, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The attention to detail here is impeccable, and the prices were reasonable given the high quality of the experience. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy an unforgettable meal, Shalom Ethiopian & Eritrean Restaurant  is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and try more from the menu!

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — beautifully presented on fresh, spongy injera with a wide variety of flavorful dishes to try. Every bite was full of rich taste, from the spiced stews to the veggies and perfectly cooked sides. The platter was generous and colorful, making it perfect for sharing, and it really captured the warmth of Ethiopian cuisine. The injera was soft and tangy, just the way it should be, and paired perfectly with all the dishes. On top of that, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. You can really feel the love and care that goes into both the food and the hospitality. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for authentic Ethiopian / Eritrean flavors and a memorable dining experience! P. S. The coffee was truly divine

Awesome! Just awesome! I loved the Kitfo! We also ordered the Shalom plate. Get the Kitfo raw the way it should be eaten and you won't be disappointed. The seasoning is perfect and the staff are so friendly. I feel like I'm visiting a friend versus eating at a restaurant. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of beer or tej, but the food was awesome and more than made up for the lack of alcohol. There was a steady stream of customers as well that came in despite the subzero temperature. Much like the Terminator, I'll be back the next time I'm in the Toronto area.

I had a remarkable time eating at this restaurant last month. I went there with my family and friends, and together we had a positive experience overall. The food is very deliciously prepared and cooked. The food is prepared by people of Ethiopian origin, so it is both authentic and high-quality. The menu contains foods like "Fitfit","Doro Wet",and "Zilzil Tibs on Injera, including breakfast and vegetarian food option. The food ranges from spicy to mild, while still being zesty and good - tasting. The design of the restaurant is inspired by Ethiopian culture, including the artworks and chairs. The service was great and the waitresses are outstanding. It is situated on Parliament Street at Prospect Street. I highly encourage you to go there and dine, and eat Ethiopian cuisines, and experience Ethiopia in...
