Found them on uber eats and they lived up to the really high reviews!!
However, I do have some feedback I hope they’ll address. My first order was cancelled after waiting 1.5 hours, because the weight of the food caused the thin paper bag to rip and all fall out on the floor. I had to reorder and the delivery driver warned me to hold it from the bottom I could tell it was much too heavy for the thin paper bag. Please make sure you are spreading it out over multiple bags or using sturdier bags, or even warn delivery drivers to hold from the bottom!!! In this case 4 heavy mains + 3 naans were in one relatively small/thin paper bag. There are many options like spreading this into 2 bags or using plastic/canvas bags for large orders, etc. I hope this doesn’t happen again so that I can continue to order delivery.
Now onto the food though… it was DELICIOUS!!! I do not like very spicy food so usually only eat home cooked Indian food but their medium spice was PERFECT, more like a mild at other restaurants but still really flavorful and enough spice to make it authentic.
I tried the daal makhani - delicious!! Maybe a touch too much cream? I actually found it a bit too mild and it was a lighter color than I’m used to, so less cream would have helped. That that said I really enjoyed it and would order again!!
Paneer makhani was surprisingly my favorite! So so flavorful with deep tomato umami and well cooked spices. Also noticed they were VERY generous with the paneer, probably double the pieces of paneer relative to sauce compared to other Indian restaurants, a very nice ratio. This was my favorite dish…. I wish they offered this sauce with the soy chaap because that would become my go-to order.
The malai soy chaap was also very tasty. This was the spiciest of the 3, verging on a bit too spicy for me but still very manageable and delicious. Flavor wise I can see a lot of people loving it, but personally I preferred the tomato flavor and spices used in the makhani sauce… this sauce is more elaichi (black cardamom) forward I think? Either way I still really enjoyed it and would happily order again, especially for some veg protein from the soy chaap.
The laccha parantha was well made and authentic! Their naan was maybe not my favorite but still very good. I’m used to a thicker and bigger naan that is more well cooked, however this was easily improved by reheating in the oven (and next time one could order an extra). They generously added a free rice and that was perfectly cooked with a hint of cumin too!
Now on to the portion sizes - I initially thought it was quite pricey for 3 dishes + 3 naans ($100) but their portions are HUGE!!! This could easily serve 6-8 people. Especially given they are generous with the paneer/protein pieces in the dishes.
Overall I am so thrilled to have discovered this restaurant, I have tried several Indian restaurants downtown and never found one I liked - either inedibly spicy, poorly made, unhygienic, no soy chaap, etc. This spot will become my new go-to and I look forward to...

After a previously disappointing experience, I’m thrilled to say that Butter Chicken Factory went the extra mile to win me back, and they truly delivered. This time, I ordered the Dal Makhani, Paneer Tikka Masala, and Butter Chicken, and each dish was absolutely spectacular. The Dal Makhani was rich and flavorful, the Paneer Tikka Masala had the perfect balance of spices, and the Butter Chicken was as indulgent as ever. It’s clear they took my feedback seriously, and I’m so glad to see them back to the top quality I remember. Thank you, Butter Chicken Factory, for a fantastic meal!

Disappointing Experience – A Far Cry from What It Used to Be
I was genuinely disheartened by my recent visit to this restaurant, which used to be one of my absolute favorites. Unfortunately, today's experience has likely marked my last.
We started with the Tandoori Chaap, which was excessively salty, making it almost inedible. The Dal Makhani lacked flavor and depth, coming across as completely bland — a truly unpleasant surprise. The Paneer Tikka Masala, which I had previously raved about, was also disappointing this time, with an off-putting taste that was hard to pinpoint.
While they seem to have made some improvements to their presentation, the food quality has clearly declined. To add to the disappointment, the service was subpar, with the servers appearing inattentive and unengaged.
Overall, this visit was a significant letdown, and I’m sad to say I won’t be returning anytime soon.
——————————————————————— Previous review (about 9 months ago) ——————————————————————— I have been here a few times but this time the food hit me different. It was absolutely delicious and way better than most of the other times!! Best was Paneer Tikka Masala out of all that we ordered. On top of that, our server Tanvi was just a delight and made sure we had a very good experience. She always had a smile and catered to our queries with a lot of patience. Definitely going to come here...
Read moreProbably one of the worst butter chicken I have ever tried. Stay away if you are interested in true Indian food taste.
Ordered Dinner for 2 combo through Uber eats. Even though the delivery was quick the food was delivered almost cold. Most items were average but the flop show of the order was the butter chicken. The taste was similar to the $10 frozen butter chicken one usually gets from grocery store.
Stale and dry pieces of chicken breast, that were obviously dropped into the pre-made gravy few minutes before the packaging. I think the restaurant should focus on the one dish they have named themselves after. Terribly disappointed and would mark this place of the menu so that I do not accidentally order from here again by mistake.
Other items, which we choose to be made spicy, were artificially sprinkled with chilli powder. Why, just why?
Edit (In response to restaurant's comment): My complaint was less about the sauce, but more about the dry and stale pieces of chicken in the dish. Did you cook the chicken as well in the gravy for 3.5hrs, if you did, it sure was well overcooked. In case you just added a few pieces of cold chicken tikka in your pre-cooked sauce, then its a different story and tells a lot about the chef and the cooking process at the restaurant.
Regarding the other point about making dishes spicy, unlike salt, chilli powder is something you do not just add on top of a cooked dish to increase the spice level. In most cases it should be cooked along with other ingredients to make it palatable and blend it with other flavours, rather than just adding it at the end, uncooked, which, makes it stand out on the palate and ruins all other amazing flavours for which we order our beloved Indian food. Please do not ruin the taste of a dish to make it more practical, atleast when you call yourself a fine dining restaurant.
PS: Thank you for your offer and I'll definitely consider revisiting other items in...
