Hi,

First off I can’t believe I am spend so much energy on this but it matters.

I love Pizzaolio, however this evening I had a really negative experience at the Bay and College location, with a guy with glasses who said he worked there for a long time.

I came in for a slice but all the slices were over 2 - 3 hours old in the display, so I bought a pizza - I asked for a small and he said medium and small are the same price. That was fine so I said I’ll get a medium. I can eat a medium pizza no problem.

I waited about 10 mins and he handed me the pizza. This was not a problem either, I would have waited longer. Yes, I dove in right away and I took the smallest slice, I tried it, all the toppings fell off and the centre of the pizza was raw, chewy and tasted undercooked was flimsy and falling apart. The topppinfs were sliding off the pizza!

I normally eat crust to centre. But gosh it was not Pizzaoiolo. Pizza is pizza you can’t mess it up. They did.

I felt horrible but I had to say something. With 5/6 slices still in the medium box I said it wasn’t good. I was kind about it and HE was not happy at all. He was angry I would even bring it back.

He tried to convince me that is normal pizza, that I took a slice too quickly and that he knows how to make pizza, I was scamming him. He said he makes $15000 a day on the dried out pizza in the display and was upset that I used his material and cost and labor off a small slice that was less than 6 inches long and ~3inches wide and super under cooked!! 5/6 slices were still in there and he said ‘now I can’t even try to sell this slice because I took one’

I said I am not insulting you, maybe it’s the oven, I asked for another pie, he offered to put my existing pie (which had fallen apart as I tried to find a decent slice to no avail) and after he got offended and didn’t want to help I asked for my money and he was going to refuse! Luckily the kind lady working with him helped return my money. He said I wasted his time, his money and insulted him, said that everyone loves his pizza. I think that might be different story at 3.1 stars on Google! Crazy!!! How can a chain like that, usually so good be so much poor in reviews!

I am really dissatisfied in this location, I asked for his name and he yelled at me to get out. Good for him for having that confidence to not treat kind customers well who just want a good COOKED pie. I wish I could tell their head office this experience.

My only regret was that I didn’t take a picture.

Will not go there again. Truthfully I encourage you not to go there...

Pathetic service We ordered a pizza through Ubereats on May 11, 2021 and got our delivery at 6.08pm after an hour of ordering. On calling the person receiving the call at outlet was very rude and said it is not yet an hour, 2 minutes are left and pizza will be delivered. On finally received our order after 1 hour, the pizzas were cold qnd soggy and not worth eating. We contacted Ubereats for a resolution, they directed us to Pizzaiolo outlet by saying merchant handles delivery. When we tried calling the outlet, no one received the calls. On calling from my husband's number, it was received in 1 ring. This is absolute pathetic customer service. The receiver at the outlet, I cooked the Pizza myself and it it was hot and we are lying about the pizza being cold. And we were directed back to Ubereats as he refused to listen to us and hung up. Kindly give a resolution to this. Erroneously I posted my review for 707 Yonge St. My sincere apologies. Pls note this review is specifically for 770 Bay...

I came to write this review after being disappointed a 2nd time in a row. I like customizing orders to pay for extra toppings, so for the past 2 orders I paid for extra pepperoni, and extra cheese. And both times when I open the box I'm filled with frustration when I see the cheap scattering of pepperonis, arguably barely enough to fulfill a single topping, let alone "extra" that I paid for.

When I came here to write the review, I noticed another reviewer said the same, "Theft. Do not order from them. If you request extra of any item, they charge you more but actually go light."

This used to be my go-to place, and I really enjoy their crust. But unfortunately I'm now looking for a new place due to this extremely poor customer service. They also increased the price of their pick up special for a large 2 topping. It used to be 14.99 or 15.99 I forget, but they...

simply outstanding pizza, best crust, fresh ingredients etc — my first taste of Pizzaiolo was the one on Dundas West/McCaul (not sure if still there) but paid no mind to it, until a few weeks ago I had it for dinner with a friend (the location on St Clair near Yonge) and was floored by how good it was. So not ALL Pizzaiolo locations are created equal but this one on Bay/College and the one of St Clair/Yonge are def my favs so far. the one pictured here is the Capone : molto deliziosa !

I ordered my gloves, left my gloves behind and the owner came after me to give it back to me. Really nice person and helped me. One of the best vegan pizza and the cheese taste really like real cheese. I’m really glad that I found this place and will be coming back for sure. I think it was really yummy and for the price it is quite reasonable as the quality of the toppings felt fresh and they also have some special so take advantage of it if you are not a picky eater

Normally, I'm not a fan of pizza but this place made a pretty good pie. Prices are what you would expect and decor is pleasant and clean. My only down note is with customer service. The guy taking my order stood halfway down the kitchen asking what I wanted and didn't come closer until I was half finished my order. Proceeded to ask me to repeat my order so he can punch it in. If you can't remember an order the why not come to the till when the customer arrives.
