Our first experience of eating at BHK ROLL and very good experience. Good Indian food: tasty, Delicious, paka Indian Stuff, Masala Chai awesome btw not from pre-mix prepared as they make in India (the street Chai Wala's), less salt, reasonably priced and above all customer friendly. Keep it up guys and thank you - Dev borem korum tumkam- anik yietoleat ani dusreank sangtoleat. Mog Vaddum 🙏 Narcisa & rAymond
June 6, 2024, Narcisa and I had the great surprise of the humble and graceful Chef Debu treating us with the first of its kind—his own invention of "DESSERT(SWEET) VADDA PAV." It is very delicious and AmaZing; my mouth is watering even as I write this post. Thank you, Chef Debu. That was very kind and generous of you.
Being True Goans, we love authentic Goan food, which is rare in downtown Toronto. Quite a few have Goan fish curry, Goan Vindaloo, Goan Balchao, Chicken Caffreal...etc.; however, it's not to the mark. And when Chef Debu presented the taste of Goan Balchao & Vindaloo Sauce...Whoa, it is authentic Goan taste. We were satisfied with tasting authentic GOAN stuff in Toronto for the first time. Narcisa brought the Balchao sauce and made "Prawns Balchao", a delicacy to relish your rice curry meal. Well Done, Chef Debu.
By the way, Chef Debu has worked in Goa at the renowned Hotel then known as " Cidade De Goa" (now known as Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage, Goa). We are still waiting to taste the Authentic " CHICKEN CAFFREAL." I know you will deliver the authentic taste for that, too.
All the best, and keep growing, and the taste will ever increase.

I’m so glad I stumbled upon BHKRoll, tucked away in the College Station food court. It’s easily one of the most satisfying food spots around – and I find myself coming back to it regularly.
Their food is consistently delicious, with bold flavors, generous portion sizes, and great attention to hygiene. The price point is also very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get, making it a fantastic value overall.
What really makes BHKRoll stand out is how they've drawn inspiration from Bengali cuisine, something I rarely see done well in fast-casual settings. From the Kolkata-style ghugni and paratha to the spice balance in their kathi rolls and chicken biryani, there’s a clear nod to Bengali flavors – but with a modern, unique twist that makes it their own.
Their chicken biryani is flavorful and satisfying – though I still don’t quite understand the addition of raw chopped green chilies on top! But aside from that small quirk, the overall taste is excellent. The samosas are perfectly crisp, and the kathi rolls are a definite highlight – packed, juicy, and well-seasoned.
It's refreshing to see a place blending regional Indian influences with thoughtful innovation, and doing it well. If you haven’t tried BHKRoll yet, you’re missing out on one of the best food options at...
Read moreCame here after reading an article about a chef who has opened a stall in a food court after working at an Indian fine dining restaurant. I was not alone in my adventure as there were 2 other people in line who had traveled all the way here to try the food!
I ordered the chicken briyani, samosa and tea set, and the chicken roll. The briyani was the star of the show and it was lipsmackingly good! Instead of a few tiny strips of chicken, I got a whole chicken leg and the basmati rice was so fragrant. I loved the addition of raisins, nuts and spices to elevate the flavours. It certainly felt like they could have charged much more for the briyani, and I appreciate how they have priced it affordably in this economy.
My second favourite item was the tea. It was a little expensive (even with the samosa set) but the cardamom was perfectly balanced. It was like a more exotic twist on a traditional milk tea.
Honestly, I was a bit worried about the reviews talking about food poisoning. However, the open kitchen looked clean and all the employees handling food were wearing gloves. I was also fine after eating the briyani.
Overall, I was impressed by the level of quality of the food. It's hard to find quality Indian food at this price downtown. I'm already thinking of my...
