UPDATE - March 16/23 Sunday evening I received a phone call from the owner letting me know that he wanted to make his customer happy and offered me a credit on my order. I mentioned that I would like to receive the pizzas on Thursday and to my surprise I received another followup phone call from the owner, Mustafa reminding about the pizzas. He took my order over the phone and I was there in about 25 minutes to pick up my order. This time I ordered the medium pepperoni tiny cup and large pepperoni and mushroom. It tasted really good. Their pepperoni tastes great and much better than the Pizza Pizza located right across the road from them. I do not usually provide a 5 star rating but Mustafa and this Pizziolo location deserved it because of their excellent customer service and great pizza. Thanks for making my evening and I will order again.

Original post: I ordered two pizza, the first being the pick up medium pepperoni special for $10.99 and the next being the large two toppings with either dipping sauce or two drinks for $15.99. I picked up pizzas around 50 minutes after ordering. There was lots of parking on side of building. The front faces O'connor. When picking up there was a slight error in the medium pepperoni; I wanted the tiny cups but the person ordering provided the regular pepperoni. The pepperoni pizza tasted really good, great crust, sauce and pepperoni. It could have more cheese than it did. The rapini and sausage was not bad; I think I received too many stems of the rapini which were tougher when eating it. It also could of had more cheese on the pizza. I wanted to pay extra for goat cheese but the young lady on the phone who took the order said it was not an option. I have ordered from Pizzaiolo before for a company function and wanted to pick up for myself and family. I was not really impressed with the customer service and was slightly underwhelmed with the pizza. Unfortunately I won't be going out of my way to...

EDIT: I have since updated my review to 5 stars. Customer care offered me a free pizza due to my experience outlined below and I called in to redeem it tonight. At first the free pizza wasn’t showing in my account, but the lady who answered the phone was polite, efficient and swiftly figured out the issue and honoured the free pizza.

The pizza was personally delivered by the store owner Mustafa, who was very pleasant and apologetic about my prior experience. The pizza was delicious, as it usually is and my faith in this Pizzaiolo location has been restored!

Thank you Mustafa and team!!

This is our go-to local pizza place and we’re usually really happy with our pizza, however today was not a great experience here.

I called in my order ahead for pick up and when I arrived, one of my pizzas had black olives instead of green. I pointed out the error and the woman shrugged her shoulders and said, “oh well, they taste good too, no?”, to which I replied “no”.

She then said she’d re-make it, but having to pick up my kids from preschool, I didn’t have time to wait around for a new pizza to be made. No other attempt was made to remedy the situation. Perhaps a credit for next time? Nope.

The lack of attention to detail and accountability is quite...

This location deserves a zero star rating. I've order from this location before and everytime I'm extremely disappointed.

I order 2 medium regular crust pizzas and received 2, 10 inch thin crust pizzas after waiting 1 hour for delivery. The pizza was floppy, no crust, little toppings, and cold.

(The previous time I order deep dish and didn't receive deep dish. I received regular crust.)

This location is the only location I have had an issue with, repeatedly.

I've tried to order from the Underhill location but for some reason the website and the app will not allow me to order from my preferred location, which happens to be closer.

I would advise other loyal Pizzaiolo customers and prospective customers to avoid this location untill head office can get this location on par with their other franchises.

This lack of service and quality of product is unacceptable and does not reflect previous experiences that I have had at other locations.

I hope this isn't a trend that is going to spread throughout other locations.

Extremely disappointed and a waste of hard earned money.

Please assess your procedures and product, and get into alignment with what your customers expect and deserve for their hard...

I haven't been to a Pizzaiolo in a minute. The location I used to love was Broadview n Queen until it closed up shop and went away. I loved that location. This was my first visit since then. This was just as good. The person behind the counter was very pleasant and congenial. She made the experience so much better. And the pizza was so so good. Just like how it used to be. I was even saying it to the person who I was eating with "how do the pizza here always tastes so much better then the other chains?" Cause all of the other chains are so blah sometimes. Anyways I am happy and will be returning for sure.

Best crust available locally. Generous toppings. Friendly people. This has become our “Go To” pizza joint. Whether it’s takeout or eat in the pizza’s always delicious. We have been many times for a slice and ordered out quite a few. By now we’ve just about sampled all the many styles available. The pizza is always made right with a nice brown bottom and plentiful toppings. We probably have 10-15 pizzerias within a couple of miles and this is the only one we now use.
