Was extremely excited to try this spot as it has awesome reviews , however , was extremely disappointed . Got a classic banquet burger (burger only) , and a cheeseburger for my wife . Came up to around $30 , now , i dont mind paying alot for something , if i know its QUALITY .

Unfortunately, the burger was extremely dry , even when squished really hard , NO juices came searing out . So i was already let down by the food

However , i noticed that the place has turkish people working there . Which i dont care about race , but the workers friends also seemed to be outside and all the workers seemed more interested in going outside to have a smoke with their friends , rather than paying attention to the grill … this is what caused the burger to be over cooked in my opinion . They also missed some condiments i asked for due to being distracted by wanting to go outside quick to smoke and hang .. They are young so you cannot fault them for not wanting to work hard on a nice evening , however management should have someone more mature there to control whos doing what .

Very disappointed to try something ive been waiting weeks to try (as i have a busy schedule in and out of the city)

I hope i can try it again and have a better experience because the ONLY complaint i have was it being dry , other than that the flavour of the actual meat was awesome which is why im giving the food a 2 star rating . And the garlic aioli they use gives it a...

If you're looking for a cozy spot with a personal touch to grab a good burger and fries, this little eatery is worth a visit. The place is intimate, with perhaps four or five tables tucked into a snug space that feels welcoming.

The menu, scribbled on a chalkboard, suggests a homey, unpretentious vibe, and the walk-in specials are a steal—they're significantly less pricey than the regular fare. The fries here are generous in portion, crispy and well-seasoned—a real treat alongside their decent, satisfying burgers. Don't expect culinary fireworks—the burgers are squarely good, but they're not about to change your world. They deliver on what you want most: a solid, tasty meal that hits all the right comfort notes.

What adds to the charm is the whiteboard wall where guests have left their colorful marks—a testimony to the joint's community feel and the fun, informal atmosphere it encourages. The staff, particularly the amiable guy who served us, adds to the friendly ambiance. You can tell they care about the place and their patrons, even though it seems like it's mostly a two-person operation.

One heads-up: The music can be a tad loud, which might make chatting a bit challenging. But that's a minor hiccup in an otherwise great experience. This place has character, from the hand-drawn decor to the personable service, making it a spot you'll want to return to—either for the food, the deals, or...

Awesome Banquet burger combo. Best french fries that I have had in a long time. Thinner than McDonald's, but way fresher. They kind of remind me of The Flying Food Circus fries in Yorkville in the 1980's. Sadly the Flying Food Circus was the best place for burgers (which were the size of a frezbee) and fries and the milk shakes were to die for. BQM kind of reminds me of the above mentioned place. BQM, you would have earned a 5 star rating if you included a soft drink in the combo. We'll folks. Just had another Banquet Burger at the Burger shop and I was very disappointed in the server. I asked for 3 simple garnishes. Relish, onions and Garlic Aoli sauce. The server asked 3 times what I wanted on the Burger. I thought to myself, ok, she wants to get the garnishes right. So the the Burger comes to my table and I take a few bites out of it and lo and behold, there is no bacon, no relish and no garlic Aoli. Instead there was onions (the only thing she got right), and Horseradish Aoli. Which absolutely sucked. I went up to the counter to show my displeasure and got the famous shoulder shrug. If anyone reads this post and you go into this place and see a slim European lady, walk out. The quality of burgers is excellent but beware of...

I got the ‘big cheese’ burger from them which comes with two patties. Their buns are of decent quality and they have decent toppings, like the pickles were a nice touch. But besides that, their actual patties and cheese reeeally leave a lot to be desired. The patties use some kind of ground beef that has a really low fat percentage and their patties are not adequately salted so what you get is a patty that tastes bland, and the meat of the patties crumbles apart when you eat it rather than being pulled apart by your teeth. And their cheese was just very generic and did not add anything at all in terms of flavour to the burger except maybe the slightest amount of salt (presumably to counteract their absolutely horrendous lack of seasoning). Was the burger good? I guess, it might have been good if it was like $10-$12. But at $15.99 + tax, it came to around $18 in total just for the one burger, and that was definitely not worth it. A 2/10 burger I would say, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Tried it for the first time today because it seems to have great reviews. The burger was very hard to eat because the meat patty was very dry and rancid tasting (like when meat sits at room/high temperature for too long). Perhaps it was sitting in a hot place where all the juicy fat already melted away, making it dry. The only thing that made it edible was the bbq sauce and onion ring. Half way through I couldn't finish it anymore. I just ate the onion ring and things around the patty. Now i'm feeling nauseas -_- Fries were also like the frozen shoestring fries that I suppose I could have just made at home instead of paying $4 for. I do not think its worth the hype for the price and quality. A&W may be a better bed in terms of quality and that is saying a lot. Also why are people saying they were friendly? when they just seemed cold.
