Gussied Up — Local services in Toronto

Gussied Up is a wonderful store! I discovered Victoria and her store 10 years ago while looking for plus sizes bathing suits. I now do all my clothes shopping here - it has something for every type of occasion from work, casual and fancy dress. Gussied Up carries a big variety of clothing to meet many preferences and styles so I can always find what I am looking for.

I used to struggle buying clothing and often had to settle for something that fit even if I didn't like it much. I never have to settle any more. If I don't find the right thing on one visit, I will find it the next time I come in.

Victoria, the owner, is a particularly special part of the store. Unlike many stores that just want to make a sale, Victoria will never sell you something that doesn't look good on you. She has great judgement and makes sure you walk out with things that look and feel great on.

There are so many reasons why we do so...Firstly, a welcoming greeting each time you enter. Secondly, there is an array of beautiful and reasonably priced gorgeous pieces. Please remember that good pieces of quality fabrics are worth every penny. Lastly, Victoria will always give you her honest opinion about something you are trying on for the first time. I found Gussied Up by searching google for plus sized stores in Toronto. I came from out of town after exhausting the big-box and chain plus-size stores in our area. We could not find anything to wear to a wedding that fit me. After the employee helped me choose a number of dresses to try on, all of which actually fit me(!), I purchased 2 of them because I was so happy to find beautiful clothing that fit me well! I felt amazing in both dresses! The sales person was very supportive and truthful when one dress wasn't the most flattering, and complimentary to me about the nicest ones!
