Spadina — Local services in Toronto

TTC management was contacted in writing twice about these incidents and was never addressed. Motorcycles powered by gasoline and over-sized electric bikes can be frequently observed on the platform of this particular Spadina Subway station. I encountered three close calls in September this year as I attempted to exit the subway, with my safety jeopardized by motorcycles that recklessly entered the subway car without allowing passengers to disembark first. The TTC management appears to have no security measures in place to address this issue, as these vehicles are entering the subway from ground-level, specifically the bus entrance, in a clear violation of regulations. Furthermore, the TTC staff members on site do not appear to be taking any action to prevent this behavior. These individuals enter the subway, either by descending the escalator or using the elevator, which means they are captured on TTC surveillance cameras and are visible...

This is one of the Terminal Station for TTC Subway Line 2 ( EAST - WEST ) and Line 1 ( North - South ) Intersection stations. Too much walking distance between line 2 & Line 1 Stations and Both station have same name. It's really uncomfortable for commuters & not the great Subway design. Other Terminal stations are St.Geroge and Bloor & Yonge stations are quicker and easier to change line 1 & line 2 Trains. Four different entrances to this Station and Streetcar South to Toronto China Town to Union station and Bus North to Casa Loma. Streetcar running at lower level and Bus Running from street Level. Convenience store ' Gateway On the Go ' available in this station at Lower Level. No washroom facilities available. Spadina station is one of the tourist attractions TTC station.No Parking. This station is OK. It offers a good connection to the 510 Spadina Streetcar route. If you are transferring on a subway from line to line, Spadina is not the place to go. St. George is much better, as its only a stairway down from line to line and is only 1 minute by train, otherwise you'll have to walk the 3 minute Spadina Tunnel. The station design is fine, there could be better signaling on how to get from Line 1 to 2. Otherwise, it's a good station, and getting to the streetcar is very easy. Almost like Union Stations Streetcar stop. Would not recommend transferring...
