If you like slow disorganized restaurants this place might be for you. July 1 2017, Arrived and got a seat immediately which was nice. The server took our order for lunch and the waiting began! After a bout 5 mins a coke and waters arrived, About 5 minutes after that I enquired what had become of my drink. I was informed that the Bar was backed up!!! Who’s ever heard of a bar being backed up?!??! About this time some people arrived at the table next to us. We kept waiting….. About 7 minutes more my Sangria shows up. The people next door are still waiting to order.. We are now waiting on the appetizer… tic-toc-tic-toc… The Sangria is now gone; so are the people next door, they never got to order sadly! Still waiting… About 10 minutes later the goat cheese dip shows up (about 25mins in). The Dip was very tasty but now it’s gone…. We now have new neighbors on both sides! About another 10 minutes and food shows up YAY!! However it turns out it’s someone else’s order! Finally 40 minutes after ordering a hamburger and my penne with sausage arrives!! Just as the people on the table to the right of us bail! They never got to order! It turns out that penne with sausage it really penne with sliced up hot dogs. Well the penne with sausage was a bit of a disappointment and the garlic bread it came with was an abomination!! It was basically a slightly warmed bun with garlic butter spread on it ECHK!! All in all not a good experience at shoeless joes…

My mistake! I always enter the restaurants and then I read the reviews. I ordered grilled calamari and I asked the waiter if they have it and he confirmed that they do and I ordered roasted beets and goat cheese salad and an onion soup. The waiter came back and asked me if I wanted chicken or shrimp on my salad I asked him if it was extra he said $2. I said fine put chicken on it. He came back again and said sorry it’s $5.99 extra. I was not surprised and said it’s ok. After 30 minutes I noticed another waiter was wondering around with calamari in one hand and a bowl of salad on the other. I called him I noticed calamari was fried and the salad was souvlaki chicken bowl. I told him mine was supposed to be grilled and the salad was supposed to be roasted beets. While they brought the food there was no cultry on the table. He said he was going to take care of it and took back the food. Waited another 15 minutes waiter brought my correct salad with tiny chicken pieces on it. Looked like the chef took the souvlaki chicken sticks which was on the wrong salad and with hand made it into small pieces. I ate the salad and asked the waiter for my calamari. He said oh sorry we don’t have the grilled calamari. I told him and you did not bother yourself to inform me. Again he apologized. I asked for his manager. He came. I guess his name was Danny. I told him what was happened and he did me a favour and took out the calamari which I did not have off my bill. Thx a lot

I’ve tried the Jumbo Blue Freezie Bowl and the Parmesan Crusted Chicken Rigatoni. The jumbo blue freezie bowl is so big! The cup was so heavy to lift up! Just like the name the flavour is reminiscent of those blue freezies that I’ve had growing up. I can barely taste the alcohol to be honest, and to be fair it’s only supposed to be around 3oz. I was able to drink this all by myself and it just tasted more like a mock tail than cocktail. The drink is overall good and great value but there was way too much ice than what I like. As for the Parmesan Crusted Chicken Rigatoni, I’ve ordered this under the recommendation of my friend. I’ve also added cheese to the garlic bread. This was a great choice! The chicken breast was well seasoned. Usually I would like to dip chicken breast in some sort of dipping sauce but I thought this was good on its own. The rigatoni noodles was covered in rich creamy mushroom sauce with red bell peppers, mushrooms and grape tomatoes. I think this dish was very big and filling! I only ate like 20% of it and had to take the rest to go. To be fair my drink took up most of the space for me. Overall the food was decent. I think the service overall wasn’t spectacular but it wasn’t outright horrible. The lights did flicker so much though.

We had the worst service at Shoeless Joe’s. We had a large party, which we made reservations for and waited over an hour just to get drinks and only 4 drinks came out of a party of 14 people. Only 6 people got food. One entree (fish tacos) was completely cold and one entree was the wrong order. When we went up to the bar to ask where are drinks were since we waited so long, she said she never received a drink order and we should talk to our server and when we asked our server, she blamed the bar and said they were too busy. The table wasn’t set, so when the 6 people at our table were served, there were no napkins or cutlery. One of our friends had to get up and ask for cutlery because they weren’t bringing it out. Turns out, more than half of our table drinks and food was never rung in. We tried to talk to the manager about this and he wasn’t having it. No apologies or compensation at all. He was very dismissive and not once did he come up to our table, we had to seek him out and he just never came back, so we left. On our way out, there was another family leaving that had the same experience as us, they made reservations and didn’t even get served drinks (with 3 children) and waited over an hour. Absolutely the worst dining experience all of us have ever had! Especially for a large party, the restaurant should make sure to put in extra effort. I would not recommend this place at all. They should be embarrassed with how terrible service was and how poorly the manager did at not handling the...
