Souperlicious — Restaurant in Toronto

whoever the chef is that cook the food for example the goat the oxtail and jerk chicken NEEDS TO BE FIRED NO DISRESPECT. The oxtail I got was tough needed to be cook way longer that was my first experience. Second time the goat n jerk chicken mix omg the goat was raw smelling the jerk chicken lol I can't believe the chef tasted all that and actually thought that was good. However I had the peanut porridge, cornmeal, harmony really good but not the plantain porridge it was watery n taste was off. The corn soup, chicken soup, and red peas soup was good. I want my money back for the 2 dinners I bought it was that horrible. I'm sure a lot of money was invested for that restaurant, that chef needs to get let go asap because I for sure will never buy no food just the soup and porridge and I'm sure there are MANY who feels the same...

Ordered 8 soups today plus porridge plus Patties.

Soups that are unavailable on "soups special" day, is unacceptable at 16:30 hours in the afternoon.

Soups that don't contain the main ingredient, ie; corn soup with no corn. No fish soup available. Not acceptable.

Today I decided to try the chicken. Big mistake! It was more like a vegetable soup, potatoes and carrots, no chicken, no dumpling and only tasted like black pepper.

I've been here before and was unimpressed with other selections. I've been to other locations. Mississauga, Rexdale, Scarborough (Ellington) The best so far is Rexdale( Queens Plate Dr). Unfortunately I only live 2 minutes from Warden location.

Thanks to the kind gentleman staff who offered me variety this evening and introduced the red pea and oxtail soup - it was so good! Good amount of thickness, wholesome ingredients and a new flavor profile on my pallet. Oh so good.

Got the almond porridge - it had good texture (you can feel and subtly bite the crushed almonds), good thickness, but it was too sweet for me (a one off?).
