Lahmajoun Factory — Restaurant in Toronto

Lahmajoun Factory owner and possibly his son are the most rudest and unfriendly people I have ever met in the food industry, I stopped by after reading about it in the TO blog to try, I picked up menu and ordered a dozen of Lahmajoun which was priced at $16.99, store employee or owner’s son right away goes to say price is higher know, it is $20 for the dozen, do you still want to buy? I said I will buy it and it will be my last time only because I drove for 30 minutes to get here. by time it was prepared, the older man comes back, so I expressed to him my disappointment, and right away very rudely said, I told you so when you came in, and the only thing he said to me when I entered the store was something in Armenian language, and it seemed to me that he was lost in the translation, he is unprofessional in challenging a customer and it is sad, when the counter has over 50 of the menu pricing, You must honor the menue pricing or remove it, unfortunately he lacks the experience in dealing with clients. I will never go back, I will spread the word in my community, Lebanese, middle eastern and including my Armenian friends. Lahmajoun factory never fails!! This place by far makes thee best lahmajouns and I have tried Lahmajouns from at least 5 different places. Hrag always takes orders so pleasantly and is a joy to speak to. These guys came through for me with a very large order when my mother passed away in 2023 and we held the gathering at the Hamilton Armenian community center, and since then I have ordered 2 more times with large orders and the most recent being this past weekend with 14 dozen plus I took two extras for emergency and everyone was satisfied!!! My son and I visited this store yesterday for the first time and purchased 6 regular and 6 spicy lahmagoun. Being from an Egyptian/Turkish family I’ve grew up eating this amazing dish and I must say, your product is one of the best. The exact portion of meat and seasoning, perfectly fresh bread which crips beautifully in the oven. Had to of course squeeze and little lemon on there of course and WOW. I’m a customer for life. Drove all the way across town to visit you and I will drive all the way back very soon. My only mistake was that I didn’t buy more. I love it.
