The restaurant still has tables that block half the tables from dining in. When we came to eat here there were 2 tables only that could allow for you to dine in. I ordered my meal as this was my first time here and I was just trying to understand the menu and options and the man taking the order was rushing me which I couldn’t understand because there wasn’t anyone else in the restaurant. When I got my meal I asked if I could dine in and the man looked at me like I was crazy but obviously allowed me to dine in. As I was eating an observed a female come to get her meal she ordered and the same man taking orders was soooo rude to her and all she said she was there to pickup a order and he was like there no order here for you what order who took your order and everytime she tried to talk he would cut her off finally she was able to get her words out and say she ordered online and when she asked if cutlery was in the bag he again was rude and said how is he suppose to know if she needs cutlery he don’t just give cutlery out. Okay the. A elderly gentleman came in seen me sitting there and began talking to me it was his first time there as well and he was asking me what it was having ect. The man taking the orders started to rush the elderly man for his order and then when the elderly man sat at the only other table available the man taking the order appeared to be irritated with us dining in. Just the experience alone has put a awful taste in my mouth as customer service is very important not just the quality of food. Now the food I do find that they are a little over priced especially for a combo for one if you want fried rice it’s extra compared to other Chinese food in the area it’s pretty expensive. The chicken balls and chilli chicken were hot however didn’t have much taste to them. Not...
Read moreWe decided to order here on a stat Monday for lunch once we found out our standby Duckee was closed. Read the reviews first and was very hesitant to order, so we checked DineSafe (for what's that worth), saw that they've been green for the last two year and held out for the best! We were very pleasantly surprised given the low reviews on Google. Customer service was on point. Delivery was fast and pleasant (first time I had a food order delivered in a Mercedes!), and the food "looked" good. Portion sizes were generous. I got a combo plate and my husband got an order of General Tao's chicken and chicken fried rice. I careful looked through the food for foreign objects before I ate it and it came up fine. My husband (who is very critical of General Tao chicken) said it was a solid contender against Duckee's and much better than The Chinese Food Gallery's General Tao. My combo plate was enough for two people. Quality was good, points taken off for the egg roll which was not crispy and the crispy noodles on my chow mein were stale. Other than that, I would order again. Looks like things have improved greatly since some of the poorer reviews....
Read moreI have ordered from here and have had good experiences but after tonight's experience I will never be back.
I placed an order and was told 45 minutes, the order took just slightly shy of 2 hours, I called at some point and asked and was told it was already on the way, meanwhile it took another 40 minutes after that. (I'm 10 minutes from restaurant). At the very least dont tell me it's going to be 45 minutes when jts 2 hours.
By the time the food got to me every was cold, and the main dish of lemon chicken had no lemon, no lemon sauce, nothing. I has cold, dry no longer crispy breaded chicken.
AND THANKFULLY I saw the metal bristle in my rice before I ate it and chocked on it.
And at the time the driver arrived, I handed him 40$, due to the terrible service I did not feel it was worthy of a tip, and yet instead of giving me the change he took the cash, stared at it and walked away.
Extremely disappointed clearly gone downhill in...
