I have recently visited this restaurant on the occasion of our anniversary! I must say that this is a hidden gem, very authentic taste just like back home. we wasted our money so many restaurants like tandoori flame, kwality etc., this is a thousand times better and authentic. The owner has specially mentioned that they have separate utensils for veg and non veg dishes which was very comforting to hear, addtionally, he was so passionate about his recipes suggested us some great items to try. This is owned by a Father- Son duo and they have personally prepared the food for us, very delicious and yummy dinner it was. We have tried crispy corn chat baskets which were so yum, the baskets were made with samosa dough and their chat sauces are on point. Our second course was Gobi Manchuria which had mild spicy aftertaste, the fried Gobi were so fresh and crispy haven't had this taste any of the other restaurants. Our main course was rumali roti which was oozing in butter with paneer labadar, this is the probably the only restaurant in toronto where you get rumali roti and god it's to die for!!! so light, fluffy, buttery makes me crave it while writing this review 😋😋😋, unlike, other restaurants their paneer is so fresh that it crumbles just like back home, I'm done eating the rubbery paneer curries by spending so much at other places.I know I have hyped it enough, but do check them out once before you make up your mind. It's really worth it!! Karan who was the owner provided amazing service, he was obtaining feedback from us on what we liked and areas for improvement. I have realized that it's better to encourage places like these who genuinely care than to waste money on many of the Brampton restaurants which doesn't give you the satiation of having good food. Disclaimer- I have no vested interest, just a genuine foodie and appreciate the honest effort that they...
Read moreOrdered takeout from this restaurant over the phone because I enjoyed the food from here before and I wanted the restaurant to get the money instead of Uber Eats. Soon after, I regretted this decision, and I do not recommend ordering takeout from this restaurant over the phone. Instead order through Uber Eats or other delivery apps which the restaurant will prioritize.
When I called the restaurant to place the order, the staff informed me that it would take at least 35 minutes. He told me that they’re a bit busy, but he’ll try his best to get the order ready for us in 35 minutes. This sounded very reassuring, and we decided to place the order and then give them a good tip if the order was ready in a reasonable time. We arrive at the restaurant after 40 minutes and they informed me that they’re still busy and asked me to wait in the car till I get a call from them. Thinking it would just be a short wait, we pay for parking outside and wait. 20 minutes go by and no call. I called them back to check in and they tell me that he’ll call me right back in a minute. Another 10 minutes go by and still no call from them. When I call the restaurant back, he tells me it will be at least another 15 minutes. At this point I’ve lost all confidence in these estimates and was frustrated that I drove all the way to the restaurant, paid for parking and wasted over an hour of my evening. I realized that they did not value my time and just kept pushing my order back because its low priority compared to dine in and delivery services. After they wasted my time, I decided I was not going to give them my money and canceled the order. They would not have held back delivery orders from Uber Eats this much, therefore if you want to order takeout, go with a...
Read moreIn response to the strongly worded confrontational words you provided to my group’s reviews from Tracy and Shristi, I have attached the bill from the meal we had to avoid any more confusion. As you can see we had a wide variety of dishes so we are in a great place to comment and provide feedback for the same. Suggest you learn some comprehension and understanding of the English language before you throw accusations. We said the chicken was stale, nowhere was it mentioned that we were served chicken instead of vegetable dishes. It’s not hard to admit you serve sub par ingredients and learn to improve on your mistakes. Not once did we inquire about your lease or if you were hiring, but I suggest you take their advice and look to hire some credible Chef’s and focus on restaurant management which may actually be your Forte since cooking Chinese Hakka seems to be something you are incapable of doing without the use of Ketchup. You talk about promoting local business and trust me we are, unfortunately there is nothing positive to promote and even worse the Owner seems to be accusing customers of ‘hating’ and ‘trolling’ without actually verifying facts or knowing what they ordered. Suggest you learn some etiquette about restaurant hospitality and how to take constructive criticism instead of lashing out at customers. Good to know you have love for customers and haters alike, the same way we also have love for good restaurants but unfortunately your establishment is not worthy of love since your food is inedible and your attitude seems to be worse than the food in...
