Everytime I went to this store, they see one person was making the drinks, the other baristas were busy changing garbages, putting away washed dishes, nobody was helping that person on that day. Anyways, yesterday I placed an order and they don’t have inclusions for Strawberry Acaì and Mango Drangonfruit Lemonade, very disappointed.This store needs to focus on customer service by serving their drinks and food on time sometimes it’s delay especially you order on Starbucks app, Uber eats, SkipTheDishes, and etc. and this store must have their products by not running out or baristas just lazy to refill the inclusions. Lastly, one time I tried to order on my Starbucks app Frappuccinos, it says “not available” and I went inside they said the same thing, why they cleaned the machine so early before they closed, which is they’re not serving Frappuccinos to the customers? Maybe Baristas seems they don’t care about the customers. Management needs an action, step up and fix the problem! Unbelievable! ———————————————————————————
After a long visit to this location, I placed an order mobile app, I came 2 mns before the time stated when the drinks be ready on the app, so a lot of people walked in to purchase their food and drinks, people were waiting just 5 mns or So, I asked the barista how long is my drink, she said it’s coming, she should made my drink first than those people before me, imagine I placed my order 4:40pm and I got my drinks around 5:01pm she made all the drinks those people before me, I’ve been waiting for 21 mins the moment I placed my order on mobile app, I was the only person standing and waiting for my drinks to get ready and those people before me were gone, this is insane service is ever and not acceptable, the barista was like “thank you for patience ” I lost my patience I was about to say something to them but nvm. It’s a nightmare coffee shop ever! When the management going to fixed my issue? Read moreThis Starbucks is closest to where I live, and I've been going steadily for years since they've opened without issue. However, things during my last 3 visits have been a complete disaster, and each time, the same barista was involved in the snafus.
The barista in question, I can't remember her exact name but it's something along the lines of Adnam, Adnem or close to that, seems to make a lot of errors, doesn't move fast enough and has outright forgotten orders. When this happened the first time I saw it, I chalked it up to an off night for her, but when I saw the same things happen on two subsequent visits, it's clear this is a regular issue with her. On my most recent visit last night (January 3/20), I waited nearly 20 minutes for a single drink, a simple to prepare Irish Cream Americano. While the location was busy at the time, I could hear other customers who were waiting for their orders saying that they too had been waiting for a long time, and customers who came and ordered after them were getting their drinks before them.
As I continued to wait, the same thing happened to me, people who ordered after got their orders filled before and when I complained, they just said oh sorry, we'll get on that now. And it wasn't because the sticker with my order hadn't been printed or posted for her, because I saw her pull it from the order board; she had just been sitting around chatting away with her co-workers carelessly and for whatever reason took other orders before mine. And again, had this been a one off, I wouldn't really complain. But this was my third negative experience with the same barista and enough is enough. And I clearly wasn't the only one who felt this way, because other customers also cancelled their orders and got refunds for waiting for too long.
I've been to way busier Starbucks locations at peak times and I have never, ever waited for as long as I did on the last 3 visits to Castlefield. Management needs to replace this barista with someone who takes her job seriously and can multitask properly. For now, I'm going to avoid...
Read moreBeen visiting this Starbucks somewhat consistently for a few months now. My experience is largely positive, but with a few issues that occur often enough that I can't write them off. First, this location more than others seems to be struggling with delivery order volume. It's the only Starbucks in a bit chunk of the city, and delivery orders seem very popular here. On several visits, waiting for an order has felt like watching an assembly line of bagged orders, hoping someone takes a minute to address those waiting for their own drinks in person. That seems to cause my second issue, which is that the wait time is consistently high here. We have learned to compensate by placing our mobile order even earlier, but I still am left waiting often, as are many others. The app estimated wait time is very wrong at this location. Last, I've had the unfortunate experience of being ignored a few times here. Last week, I walked up to the pickup glass, saw my order waiting, and just stood there. Staff seemed to avoid eye contact with me, while having three conversations with other staff, even handing off some delivery orders. Took probably four minutes to be acknowledged. While some staff here have been extremely nice to me, I feel perhaps they are overworked and it impacts their ability to maintain typical Starbucks customer service. Last, while most of my drinks are good, I've had several visits where my drink is made wrong. Several times, it's just very made with no customizations (no added milk, wrong size, not blonde), and other times just wrong (sugar free syrup incorrectly used a few times).
