Went there for my birthday. My Hpibet rep reserved me a great table thx Satvir. Dw our server was gracious and pleasant. We ordered the charcuterie board and when it arrived we were not impressed. The capicola was brown and smelled bad. We returned it and was given a lame excuse that the smell was from oxidization. This message is for the chef directly, bad rotten cold cuts should never have been served to us or anyone else that ordered it that day. You should be ashamed of yourself and go back to culinary school to learn the basics. When we sent the second attempt back we told DW to get the chef to eat it as well as the manager to try, both balked at the offer. We then ordered bruschetta, not in any way close to the traditional tomatoes onions garlic basil olive oil etc. It had egg plant and some kind of fancy cream sauce. I rate this appetizer as a 1 out of 10. I would never order it again.
Pretty sad when the chef wouldn’t want to taste it but makes an excuse to why it was brown. Would I ever go back to the restaurant, yes only because the atmosphere at the track is amazing. I will say the hibiscus margarita is splendid. I will also say the food and beverage manager has to re think their pricing of drinks. Last year a 20 oz Stella draft was around 12 dollars this year they have raised the price but the drafts are now 16 oz. Price gouging at the finest and pretending it’s drinking responsibly.

Not sure what all the reviews are about commending the Chef but the food was way below average from what we were expecting especially with the higher price point. Charcuterie Board was nothing special at all and the Cheese Fondue was off too. The Wings were and Stromboli were ok. The Shrimp and Lobster Po Boy Sandwich that sounded great was quite disappointing with little to no shellfish in it at all. The Fish and Chips was the best thing here and I wish we all just ordered that instead of trying all the other things that didn’t cut it. The drinks were reasonable but the service was extremely slow causing most of the Food to arrive cold. It seems they are way understaffed here when it’s busy as it was on Father’s Day. Even though the poor service and below average food we still somehow had a nice time here watching the races as the venue location and views are great. I really hope they re evaluate their menu here because the current options are not great at all as it seems they are trying to hard to go gourmet when all people really want is some reasonably priced, tasty and well portioned food.
