Big Smoke Burger — Restaurant in Toronto

I was here with my family last night after watching an epic concert at the casino. As expected, the whole casino was packed. We placed a large order as we were feeding 6 adults (with serious munchies after many rounds of drinks) and anticipated it would take some time to prepare, but we were happy to wait for our food.

What we did not anticipate, was the 3 "men" ahead of us, unrelated and with separate orders - causing a scene because they had to wait for their food (just like the rest of us). I can't imagine what it's like to feel so entitled and have the audacity to disrespect hardworking people that are making the meals you are about to consume. I overheard one of the "men" complaining about how he "waited 45mins", and the other "man" shouting he would demand a refund if he had to wait one more minute. I would understand their frustrations if the employees were slacking off, but anybody with eyes could see that every single person working last night was busting their a** off. So to those 3 "men", if you ever see this, I hope you know how embarrassing it was to witness you all acting like imbeciles. I pray that God opens all of your hearts and humbles each of you and your loved ones, and that you learn how to treat every living thing with kindness.

My family & I waited about 10-15mins which was AMAZING considering how busy it was and how many items we ordered. Our burgers & sides were all cooked to perfection and we devoured all of it immediately, it was SO delicious! I personally ordered the Beyond Baja burger and woke up craving it again this morning, it was THAT good. The kind staff that were working so hard to prepare our food were professional and apologetic, although they had absolutely no reason to be sorry. Each person working last night deserves a raise and some vacation time for the stuff they have to go through. But my family & I are so grateful for the phenonenal meals we received and we will definitely be coming back here...

I waited in line to get a burger here because the food options at this casino are not great and we didn't want to spend $79.99 each on the buffet at the main restaurant and the burgers looked decent. So the biggest complaint here is the music so loud it makes it difficult to hear anything the employees are saying. If you want to have a speaker with music this loud close to where people have to interact with each other, at the very least you need to have a screen up that visually displays which orders are completed. Instead what you're doing is asking for the customers name and then shouting it out when the order is completed. This doesn't work when two people have the same or similar sounding names because everyone has to try to read your lips to try and make out what name you're saying.

The burger itself was ok however the cost wasn't. For the smokey cheddar bacon burger combo with a basic poutine instead of fries, a fountain pepsi, and an extra 500 ml bottle of brisk iced tea (which your charging $3.99?) my total came to over 27 dollars which isn't reasonable.

It also took over 30 minutes for me to actually get my food from the time i started standing in line until I had it in my hand. It probably would have been longer but a worker who noticed i was standing there a very long time and asked to see my receipt and realized that they somehow...

I asked before ordering if the fries are home cut or frozen? Was told fresh cut but I’m not convinced plus as you can see in the photo they must have run out of gravy? Worst burger I’ve had in a long time for the price point……. way over priced $$$ and over cooked super dry, I mentioned to the manager that they are over cooking the patties and he looked at me as if I’m an idiot so poor management equals poor quality of service 👎🏼🤷‍♂️ hence why they only have a 2.3 out of 24 people 😂 it’s because of managers like these restaurants end up closing down! Let me tell you if I were running the show this place would be at 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because it sure has the potential and the owners had the vision, but unfortunately managers like these kill it!
