Casual Toronto — Restaurant in Toronto

We had lunch at Casual and it was such a good experience. This restaurant allows one to use comp dollars earned from the casino. We had Sriracha Maple Glazed Salmon, AAA Flank Steak with Chimichurri Sauce, Fettucini Pasta, Fish and Chips - 2 pieces of Haddock fish fillet in beer batter crust with tartar sauce and fries. The salmon was cooked perfectly, opaque and flaky. The maple gave it a hint of sweetness. The supervisor even came to our table to apologize that it took too long to serve but it was worth the wait, it was delicious. The two pieces of Haddock fish fillet was also cooked perfectly with the fish moist inside the crunchy and crispy crust. The steak was well seasoned and the pasta was tasteful. The food is moderately priced, portions are just right and the atmosphere is casual but the quality and taste of the food is truly a delight that we will surely go back to this restaurant. Harsh, our server, provided excellent customer service.

Update: Went back to Casual for lunch. My friend made sure to order the Sriracha Maple Glazed Salmon which was ordered by another friend last time and which she only had a little piece to try and loved it so much. I ordered the Curry Chicken served with grilled naan, raita and basmati rice. They were so flavourful and tasteful. Shirley, our server, provided excellent customer service. Waited over an hour for our food! We ordered 8oz steak and salmon to dine in and a pasta to go. Server offered soup after noticing that we have not had our food yet after everyone else who arrived same time we did has finished eating. The funny part was, our dessert came in first which we denied and told the guy we have not had our mains yet. Had to get up and talked to one of the manager on the floor and advised him that we were waiting over an hour for our food! Timing, as he went to the kitchen to check, I saw our food finally being brought to our table. No follow up from the manager knowing what we've been through! We quickly ate the meal and asked for the bill and saw the dessert was on it that we never took so our server had to change and remove it. She came back with the revised bill and asked us if we wanted to speak to the manager. We came there to eat and have quality time, and not to beg for discount! As well, I already advised one of the manager the situation but didn't follow up on us. Paid $140 and left but the experience we've had was not even worth $5... Worst dining experience we've ever had! Went to Copperhorn meet house after and the service and food...

I used to enjoy coming here once every few weeks but the last visit I had, I don't feel welcomed here anymore. It's all because of the server Ravi. He is just so rude and arrogant that I don't understand who hired him or how a restaurant can employ such bad behaviour.

And after being this rude, he has the nerve to indirectly ask for a tip. A tip is meant as an additional way of thanking the server for great service. It is not mandatory for customers to leave a tip especially when the service is that bad. I hope the management takes into consideration how Ravi behaves because it will all affect the company in the long run.

The company's name will be dragged through the mud just because they continue to entertain such rude behavior as an employee.
