Sunrise Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Toronto

Took my brother to eat some breakfast. The service was really bad. It took us about 50 min to get us our food after ordering food when it wasn't even a busy day.

There was only ONE waitress on shift and she didn't know the basic breakfast menu, she kept on coming back asking us questions that should of been ask from the beginning when placing an order. They need to train their staff better and hire more experienced waiters/waitresses.

We ate on the patio, probably not the best idea. Saw a birds nest located above a speaker, that hasn't been clean for quite some time. I'm not trying to bash this place but come on, how can the manager not notice this. Truly DISGUSTING experience especially in a restaurant!

I ordered the pancake breakfast THAT which included home made fires that was just plain out hard, didn't even look like fries for the most part. The pancakes was so mushy and not fluffy enough. The only good part from that meal was basically the toasted bread with butter.

I took my brother to eat as a birthday meal thinking it was going to be great but unfortunately had a really bad experience feeling disappointed with the horrible long wait just to get my food.

I definitely wouldn't come here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone I known, knowing that theirs better spots.

Showed up more than an hour before close hoping to order few drinks with buddies. Unfortunately the waitress said last call, she was rude, and wouldn't let us order more than one drink because " I need to clean the place".... I've been to many bars, thought her social skills were poor. If she was nice about the situation, we might have been okay. Also few other tables were complaining about the same issue. Also she was rushing us 30 minutes before close and rushing us to drink our Beers ? I don't think this bar is horrendous. I've been here before, however this waitress isn't great and it looks bad on this place. Few other friends have had poor experience with the same person in the past. The fact i even wrote a review shows how annoyed I was, I typically don't waste my time...

The restaurant is small and unassuming. Don't let the exterior determine your judgment of this place. Follow your stomach to breakfast.

It has a decent parking lot. There is a good amount of parking in front and back. We scored Prime front spots.

We were the only ones there early and for our pick of the seats. The server was friendly and prompt with bring water and menus. She was also quick to refill coffee.

Our orders were taken with equal speed.

We went for breakfast. The menu for breakfast tent fancy but it covers all the basics.
