I placed an in-store order for 3 chicken samosas, 3 potato cheese samosas, and 3 curried vegetable samosas. When I ate the very first samosa, I noticed it did not taste like either chicken or vegetarian filling. Upon checking the others, I realized that out of 9 samosas, 3 were completely wrong, 2 were chicken, and the rest were just potato/vegetable.
I brought the remaining samosas back to the store on August 28, 2025, and the staff confirmed that the 3 incorrect ones were beef samosas. This was extremely disturbing to me as I had unknowingly eaten one. Coming from a Hindu family where cows are worshipped, this mistake has caused me immense mental, emotional, and religious trauma.
While the staff apologized and offered to replace the samosas, I find this response unacceptable. This is not just about a wrong order – it is about food safety, cultural sensitivity, and religious respect. If I had a food allergy, the consequences could have been far worse.
This experience has left me deeply disappointed, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone. The restaurant needs to take responsibility, train staff properly, and implement strict food safety and order accuracy standards to ensure such incidents do not happen again for others. If the management does not take this matter seriously, I will be escalating the issue to the Food Safety Department for...
Read moreLiars liars liars. To all Muslims this place is not halal. A family friend told me about this place so I went out of my way today to get samosas from here. I asked them first question if everything was halal they said yes I asked for the halal certificate the girl working there ignoring the question kept saying halal at that point when I asked again she said talk to head office which I called right away twice once they picked up I asked is this place halal with full certainty the lady on the phone said yes I then asked if they have halal certificate she said yes but I cant show you thats when I got upset and said why not she said we are not allowed at that point I reminded her of the rules and regulation of saying a business is halal you need to have proof. That's when she told me the owner is muslim which makes no difference at all and nervously asking me for my contact info and said will call me back and I have not heard anything yet. The reason for the long story to all my muslim brothers and sisters dont go by what people say always ask for proof I will be getting the HMA certified authorities involved hope this experience helps all in the future. Another thing once proof of halal is assured make sure to check if its hand slaughtered and not machine that is a big mistake Muslims make machine slaughtered...
Read moreGreat selection of samosas. Sadly I didn't get a photo of the varieties but I did get a photo of the pricing and the interesting machine to check your temperature and dispense hand sanitizer. The varieties we were interested in vegetable and mutton weren't readily available in the heating trays however the merchant let us know that we could order and they could fry it for us on demand but that it would take about 5 minutes. We had the option of 2 dipping sauces with an order of 16 samosas total. From what they explained coriander was spicy, mango was mild and tamarind was sweet. We got the mango and tamarind, personally I liked the mango better, tangy with some mild spice. Now the samosas, amazing... I've been having a craving for samosas for the last little while and found Sultan of Samosas perusing on Google. Turns out this wasn't too far away and the suggestion was spot on. I tend to order the regular variety vegetable samosa at most places and this was great! I tried some other varieties and actually thoroughly liked their mutton samosas that I'll be coming back for more and trying the other varieties. Either fresh or hours later the samosas were still as good in form and consistency as when we got them. I'll definately be back and trying the rest of...
