If you’re looking for authentic Indian groceries in Scarborough, this market is definitely one of the best places to visit. It offers a wide variety of Indian spices, groceries, and products that truly bring the essence of India closer to home. From everyday essentials like lentils, rice, and flours to an impressive selection of aromatic spices, the market ensures that your pantry remains stocked with the best.

One of the standout features of this place is its collection of Amul products, which is a delight for those who cherish the taste of authentic Indian dairy items like butter, paneer, and cheese. The market also boasts an array of desi products that are hard to find elsewhere. Whether it’s snacks, ready-to-eat meals, or specialty ingredients, you’ll likely find what you’re looking for here.

The customer service is excellent, and the staff is always ready to assist you with a smile. The aisles are neatly organized, making it easy to navigate through the diverse offerings. Moreover, the market caters to all age groups with its blend of traditional and contemporary products, ensuring everyone finds something they love.

What made my visit extra special was discovering Crown Kulfi, a dessert I hadn’t enjoyed in a long time. The rich, creamy flavor of this kulfi brought back memories of my childhood, and I’m genuinely happy to find it here. It’s little things like these that make this market a gem for anyone craving authentic Indian food and products.

Overall, this Indian market is a treasure trove for desi shoppers in Scarborough. With its extensive variety, reasonable prices, and welcoming atmosphere, it’s a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the true taste of India. Highly...

The store has Indian/Pakistani groceries. They have a good variety of spices and other Indian groceries. They don't have good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. The prices are a bit high. The store is very small and congested. The isles are very narrow. We cannot pass through isles without bumping into other shoppers.

Most of of the items don't have prices on them. That becomes very frustrating and a waste of time. Most of their items are crammed on the shelves and other places so it is often hard to find what you are looking for. It becomes very embarrassing to try to get a price check of the items at the counter. The owner/cashier is usually rushing to ring all the items and get a payment from customers.

There is only one cashier so the lineups are usually long. The cashier one of the owners. The customer service is not good. The two male owners are usually grouchy and rude. It will be very helpful and less frustrating for their customers if they try to put some more effort to put price tags on all their items.

I am surprised that people still keep going to this store even though the customer service is bad and prices are high. The owners and workers need to be friendly and courteous with...

I checked out this store recently. It has all the essentials for a typical South Asian household and it was nice to find some unique items that I hadn't seen in other similar stores. However, I don't think I'll be returning here again.

The main issue is that you can't tell how much you're spending until you reach the checkout. Most items don't have their prices listed upfront and I ended up paying more for some things than I would have at other stores.

The 2nd reason being I bought a 5L gallon of cold-pressed peanut oil only to discover that the seal was broken when I got home. Although the gallon was full, I'm concerned that the cold-pressed oil may have been replaced with cheaper refined peanut oil. Since I don't live nearby, I won't be able to return it.

And the 3rd reason being, I saw a charge on my bill for "grocery" and when I tried to crosscheck with all products I had purchased it was an additional cost that didn't match anything I had purchased. The cashier was rushing to get everything checked out and there was another person packing everything swiftly into bags making it hard for anyone to keep an eye on what's going on.

Overall, it wasn't a great experience and I won't be going back or recommending...

🚫PLEASE CHECK BEFORE BUYING🚫 I had a terrible experience at this Indian supermarket. They are selling decayed, rotten, and spoiled vegetables, which is not only disgusting but a serious health hazard. It’s outrageous that the owner is willing to compromise people's health for a few extra dollars. We took photos and videos that clearly show dead insects in the cauliflower and a lot of bees inside carrot bags. Many other vegetables were also spoiled, yet they are still being sold to unsuspecting customers. This situation also raises serious concerns about the quality of their other products. I do not recommend shopping here, at least until they address and fix these issues.

I liked the store since uts near to my place and I get most of the stuff what I used to purchase from other store I even compared the price and it seems over here its cheaper then the other place .....people are nice and helpful and have lots of stuff to shop around.... I was disheartened to see that the mango yogurt which I had bought got fungus into it since there was 3 days of expiration left but I know I'll should have purchased the one with longer duration but apart from that all the items were great and I was more happy to what alphonso mangoes which is hard to find in other stores

Quite good place to shop for Indian things, they have Tons of things which makes life for Indian people very easy. Right from spices to all types of cosmetics which are very much needed for Indians. It was good to see Carrom Board, which was interesting to find it in many sizes. Hoping to visit this place more often. The person at the counter is quite helpful and talks nicely.
