Read moreThe store has Indian/Pakistani groceries. They have a good variety of spices and other Indian groceries. They don't have good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. The prices are a bit high. The store is very small and congested. The isles are very narrow. We cannot pass through isles without bumping into other shoppers.
Most of of the items don't have prices on them. That becomes very frustrating and a waste of time. Most of their items are crammed on the shelves and other places so it is often hard to find what you are looking for. It becomes very embarrassing to try to get a price check of the items at the counter. The owner/cashier is usually rushing to ring all the items and get a payment from customers.
There is only one cashier so the lineups are usually long. The cashier one of the owners. The customer service is not good. The two male owners are usually grouchy and rude. It will be very helpful and less frustrating for their customers if they try to put some more effort to put price tags on all their items.
I am surprised that people still keep going to this store even though the customer service is bad and prices are high. The owners and workers need to be friendly and courteous with...
Read moreI checked out this store recently. It has all the essentials for a typical South Asian household and it was nice to find some unique items that I hadn't seen in other similar stores. However, I don't think I'll be returning here again.
The main issue is that you can't tell how much you're spending until you reach the checkout. Most items don't have their prices listed upfront and I ended up paying more for some things than I would have at other stores.
The 2nd reason being I bought a 5L gallon of cold-pressed peanut oil only to discover that the seal was broken when I got home. Although the gallon was full, I'm concerned that the cold-pressed oil may have been replaced with cheaper refined peanut oil. Since I don't live nearby, I won't be able to return it.
And the 3rd reason being, I saw a charge on my bill for "grocery" and when I tried to crosscheck with all products I had purchased it was an additional cost that didn't match anything I had purchased. The cashier was rushing to get everything checked out and there was another person packing everything swiftly into bags making it hard for anyone to keep an eye on what's going on.
Overall, it wasn't a great experience and I won't be going back or recommending...
