I will say the deal we got was definitely worth the price on my app, but for some reason, on my fiancés app, the prices were a couple dollars higher for the exact same options, and yes, we checked to make sure it was the same location. We ordered 2 can dine premium meals, through my app, a garlic loaf, and spring rolls. I don’t understand however, the thought process that went into packaging the garlic loaf. I understand for a dine in order, putting the bruschetta topping is fine, as it will be eaten promptly, but when you’re a take out order, you’d think it’d be best to maybe put those toppings inside a container of some sort, so it doesn’t completely ruin the bread loaf. The garlic loaf was soggy on the bottom due to the loaf being placed on top of the bruschetta (pictured), without any type of divider. Just, splash the bruschetta in the box, throw the bread and let it sop it up while it sits and waits to be picked up. I know there is some common sense at play here in their kitchen, because my Caesar salad came fully de-constructed, so the croutons don’t get soggy with the salad dressing, etc. I wish the same thought went into the garlic loaf. My fiancé was most excited for that, and it was ruined. Otherwise, the chicken was super tasty, the dinner rolls were nice and soft, and can’t complain about that wonderful chalet sauce. I’ll definitely return again, I just hope that someone cares enough to implement this for future garlic loaf orders, as I’ll most certainly be ordering it again lol.

My wife and I stopped at Swiss Chalet as our first meal in Canada(it was a long day, and this place was right down the street from our hotel). The prices were higher than expected, but we were there already, and pretty hungry. I ordered the chicken, she ordered the fish. We also ordered a side of pierogies. The staff was very pleasant and helped us through the menu. The chicken was as good any other chain restaurant (but better than fast food). The fish was also pretty decent. The pierogies were good, not great(but I'm not big on pierogies). If I were here for a longer trip. I may stop in again. It's not quite worth a return visit within a week, but certainly worth trying.

I ordered for take out a "Hot Chicken Sandwich" as in "Nashville Hot Crispy Chicken Sandwich" on their website. This is what they gave me instead. It is certainly not hot. I don't see a single hint of spice in it. Later I called and they told me the Hot Chicken Sandwich is off the menu. Well if it's off the menu you should 1. take it off your website and 2. let your customer know it's off, instead of just giving them something they didn't order (and not on the menu either!)

Do not dine in at this location. First of all, priority goes to call in clients, secondly it's like a meat locker in there(freezing), thirdly, it was a sub par meal. I ordedered a festive turkey dinner and the poor girl working there asked if I wanted dark or white meat. I requested dark and a few seconds after that, the manager (who sounded more like a drill sergeant) told her that dark meat isn't available to the dine in customers (as were apparently are a lower priority). It took forever for the meal to come to us. The girls working in there seemed really anxious and to be walking on eggshells with the sergeant barking orders every 2 seconds. My meal came out without cranberry sauce, butter or stuffing, the bun was hard as a rock and the meal wasn't really hot. The garden salad side was like something you could have gotten from 7-11(dry iceberg lettuce with flavourless vegetables) The only reason I would give 1 star was due to the girls working there, who were really nice and all doing their best. Honestly, this location shouldn't even be open for dine in...

Disapointed. Too bad they dont have a location on St. Clair. It would be easier to get to go to since the locations are too far way out of the way. They took away the dufferin mall location which was within reach for shopping plus. If you were in a mall area within Toronto that would be helpful otherwise it's loblaws roasted chicken for me. They took away my seniors delivery discount. I rarely order because of the expense. It's a once in a while treat. I hate the Chalet Sauce that is the worst tasting sauce I have had. The Chalet Gravy better. There's been times they have sent the Chalet Sauce and it goes in the toilet. The chicken tastes better with Gravy. I don't know why people like that sauce. Take a survey to see how many people actually like that sauce. I wonder how gag how many people like it? 🤮

I like the frozen chicken pot pies. I buy them at the grocery store. They are okay. My mom used to make them and no one could light a candle to hers except maybe the friendly butcher. Her's in my mind were...
