Taco Bell — Restaurant in Toronto

This place is a two for one special in mediocrity. It's a KFC location as well as a Taco Bell location. This review focuses specifically on the Taco Bell portion (If I were to include KFC then this would be a one star review)

The service is fairly decent, recent layoffs of deadbeat employees has given this place a much needed improvement in timeliness and cleanliness. I'd still point out that if you only see younger employees that you should go elsewhere since the service is miles worse if it isn't provided by the much better older staff members.

The food is about as good as one might expect of a fast food location with multiple personality disorder, though you'll find that the food offered from the Taco Bell menu is significantly better than the food offered from the KFC menu. It'll do if you need something to exist in your stomach for a bit after you've hit the gym or if you're too high to be able to stumble into a better place.

The dining area used to be a complete nightmare, it's still pretty horrid but it's much better and you can sit down comfortably without contracting the plague. Though don't expect the cleanliness of the dining area to be consistent, the floors might be sticky, some tables might resemble a 3rd grade war diorama recreated with food, but it's decent enough to sit down quickly and attempt to enjoy your food.

And all of these ratings are because of manager working there , his name is kevin. He is really the most irresponsible manager I have ever seen in my entire life. He dont care about store at all. we were first trying to order something from app for pickup, it was not working so we requested manager to help us and we were ready to pay for it , he refused and talked in very rude tone. We tried again and the app order worked next time ( the reason for ordering from app was there was a deal going on) , the taco we got was not properly cooked and the beans were literally smelling. We went home and we called atleast 12 times before store closing because we forgot some of our important stuff at store. They didnt pickup the phone even once. We travel back to taco bell and ask him why is he not picking up phone. He was showing attitude saying they were busy. There were 3 people on shift even at the time we reach there were three people. And we saw that taco was not that much busy that you cant pickup 12 phone calls. We told him he is very irresponsible , he showed too much attitude and said yes I am irresponsible now what ? We’ve ordered from here twice, and both times the wait time for the food and the quality of it was DISGUSTING. We used the mobile app to order the food, showed up at the time it said to and our order hadn’t even been prepped and they knew nothing about it. We showed the cashier our order and she asked us to wait 15-20 minutes for food that was ordered 30 minutes prior. It should not take 15-20 minutes to prepare 3 tacos and 4 Cinnabon delights. To make matters worse when we got the food, it was cold. And don’t even get me started about the staff. This older Indian lady who was telling people she’s the manager when they were complaining about the wait time, proceeded to take her phone out and answer a call for her husband, in the middle of taking peoples orders. Didn’t even bother to step to the back of the restaurant or the side in their office area. It was truly disgusting. From both experiences we had there, I would never come back.
