⚠️ ATTENTION HEALTH HAZARD 🐜 Risk of infection with BED BUGS and LICE I seen Bugs on the seats I took video recording. I took pictures. I have more than enough evidence, was thousands of them, huge nest of bugs on the seats !!!! I was at Tim Hortons on a Sunday, February 16, 2025 and I always look on my seat before I sit not to sit on the food or spilt coffee or any other mess. Middle of the seat looked a bit messy what it looked to me like a “tiny little crumbs” and I choose to sit at the end right at the corner of that long seat. within 3-4 minutes of sitting I turned head on the seat to look that mess in the middle of seat. It looked like something, moving! Right away, I pulled out my phone. I turned on flashlight and here we go thousands of bugs!!! I was shocked in a moment, got up and shaking myself, shaking my jacket, shaking my pants. Being paranoid and concerned about myself anyway I wanted to protect others. Professionally, I went close to the counter and I asked a gentleman, can I speak to supervisor. Without even looking on me, he was telling me supervisor is busy. I pleased him please. It is important. Can I speak to supervisor, He looks at me and repeat I am telling you supervisor is busy. I please him again please. It is emergency. I need to speak to supervisor and he asked me. What do you want I took my jacket off and I turned towards back and I said it loud your place is covered in bed bugs. Look at the bugs crawling on my jacket. Every single customer who heard me panicked and got up, went towards the seats to look at the bugs. I start shaking my jacket and the same guy tells me get out and shake your jacket! I insist to speak to supervisor without knowing who is supervisor there. And supervisor working, she noticed me that I’m asking for supervisor. Her name was “Colleen”. She approached me. I asked her to come with me and check the seats. She politely and professionally came. As soon as she seen the seats covered on the bugs. She alerted everyone to evacuate area. I went to a random customer who was checking on the bugs after he heard me and I pleased him. Can he record me from behind with my phone and flashlight to see do I have a bed bugs. He did so and he confirmed yes I see them on your pants. The same dude who did not want to call supervisor for me. He came in a minute, start acting like Superman from 2 M away. He start spraying seats with some foam, and I told him this needs to be vacuumed and professionally sprayed. You cannot do that with a glass cleaner or toilet cleaner. And I had my jacket off, hang on other chair, looking for the bugs on the back of my jacket, with flashlight. He start spraying table and chair and he sprayed my jacket too!!! I had no words I almost lost my mind. I was shaking myself paranoid, like a crazy shaking pants, shaking jacket, shaking shoes. I was so mad, but all I could do close my mouth and I started recording and taking pictures. For the last three days, I’ve been calling Tim Hortons I spoke to supervisor or manager “Marisol”. She told me someone will call me back tomorrow. No one called me. I called back around 4 PM. And I spoke to supervisor her name was “Pretty” she also told me someone will call you back tomorrow. Again, no one called me so I called back And finally got to speak to a manager “Jhet” 19 February 2025 Who informed me that this thousands of bugs that look to me like bed bugs , are not bedbugs, but they are Lice, they are confirmed Lice by professional team who sprayed them. Without offering me nothing more than $30 Tim‘s gift card. I repeat it to her one more time before I even express health issues. I told her about material things. That I took all my clothes as soon as I enter my home at the door all my clothes went in garbage bag and garbage. I’ve been taking showers 2-3 times a day from paranoia!!! Bees flying around us scared my son and it flew towards my 9 months old baby.It landed on my daughter's hand and when she squish the bee sting her causing my daughter's thumb to bleed.In a few seconds my daughter's thumb got swollen big time and I was extremely concern. I asked the Tim Horton's staff for Ice but my daughter's face are so red and crying badly so I immediately rush my daughter in the hospital Emergency. It took the whole day my daughter stayed in the hospital.I contacted this Tim Hortons store supervisor around 6:20pm to address the concern about the incident took place.She told me that she have seen bees in their kitchen but not in dining area.She took down my information and advise me she will forward my information.She told me that a Manager in charge on the weekday will call me, she told me that I might get a call back the following week due to the long weekend so I waited.No calls from Tim hortons after the long weekend October 18, 2021@2:11pm I called the store to follow up.The manager who picked up the phone was very rude and arguementive. I informed them that the dine in area have bugs and a bee sting my 9 months old daughter who was rushed in the hospital. The manager was rude, telling me what I should have done instead of apologizing to the injuries my 9 month old daughter suffered due to their unclean, unsanitary dine in area with garbage bins full of waste products bees and bugs are flying all over the dine-area where people eat. I was told by this manager that I should have show the injuries to the manager at the time the incident happened. It was an emergency my daughter's hand was bleeding and swollen the main priority is to get medical attention. It's case to case basis and also use of common sense that immediate need is a doctor not their manager who won't fix my daughter's injury. I ended the conversation as I can't handle someone disrespecting and attacking me when I am the victim of their own negligence. I reported the issue to the Head Office, they are useless. I followed up many times and Notes on file states someone contacted me when there's nobody called to take ownership of the problem at the very least apologize. It's disappointing to know how a large company Tim Hortons do not care about their customer experience and it turns me off when they have lied that someone calls me (all calls are recorded for quality assurance if anyone of you call me my correct phone number I have provided numerous times conversation must be on record). Bottom line IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH AND SAFETY DO NOT GO TO THIS TIM HORTONS. Who knows about the food they serve may have bugs landed on it as the restaurant...
Read moreDisgusting customer service skills from the night crew. Similarly to other commentators below, workers are rude and condescending. If you aren't capable of working, this job might not for you and should find something else. I observed a female worker shouting at a customer in drive thru after being told she was given the wrong order.
When it was my turn, I was told the items ordered ahead through the app was not available. When I asked what is available from the lunch menu, I was given a simple and arrogant "nothing." I later opted and requested a medium double double coffee. When I got to the window, I was given steeped tea. I told the female staff that my order was made wrong, she began the same fit and did not once apologize for her mistake. I did not want to deal with her attitude and requested a refund knowing that I can spend my $ at another tim hortons that doesn't have obnoxious workers.
She brought out her machine and said "make it fast. I have other customers waiting." I tapped my card and left. Upon getting home, I realized she did not issue a refund and instead charged me again. Absolutely disgusting. This tim hortons used to be my go-to as it used to have good employees working. In the midst of the pandemic, it seems like they have hired clueless and rude people who have no sense of customer service.
I will be spending my $ at nearby tim hortons that know how to demonstrate basic decency...
