Terrible service at this location and gave me the tea that was not right. I Came to the store with my child about 5:50pm, May 25, 2025. First I saw a fly staying on a donut. Then I told the cashier about it, she took the tray inside and I doubt they dumped the donuts. They would take them out later and serve the same donuts to customers most likely.
After I got my stepped tea, I found it tasted weird, as I always ordered steeped tea with 2 cream and 1 sugar, I know exactly how it tastes like. However, I still drank it as i didn't want the hassle/was lazy , and assumed that it might be the brewing problem. Eventually I decided to throw the rest of the tea to the garbage (I attempted to dump it a couple of times because it tasted bad). When I was throwing the cup to the garage bin while there was still 1/3 left, I put the lid into the "recycle" and the cup to the "waste", and this was when I found the tea color was much darker than every time I ordered before at any any tim hortons. So this was when was sure that the tea wasn't made correctly.
So I went to the manager (the old Filipino woman) and told her about it. She questioned me and said: "you finished most of the tea, that means the tea was all right". She also said that why I didn't tell them at the beginning. I told her that I paid for it and didn't wanna waste it, and how would know to check the color at the beginning. I also told her that I found the color was not right when i seperated lid and and cup to the garbage bin. She told me that as I already drank the tea, she couldn't do anything about it, even though she admitted the color didn't seem right. I told her that don't worry, my intention to tell you this was not asking you to give me another one, and I just want to inform you about it.
She was very rude and it was obviously her staff's mistake but she put the blame on me. I have been to many Tim Hortons but Only found at this location that makes steeped tea taste weird and this is not the only time. The other time was the tea tasted weird like half coffee half tea. As it was very obvious, I told the manager right away, and she changed it for me. But her attitude was weird so this was another reason I chose to put up with it today till I found the color wasn't right. As a regular customer, I'll never come back again . And i believe other Tim Hortons won't treat a...
Read moreI agree with @jordanc91. This used to be the best Tims with the best employees. I knew a lot of them by name but they have all left and now the employees are rude! There is one lady at the drive thru window in the morning and one young man at night and they both need to take a class on respect. It would be a 5 star place like it was around 2 years ago. Now I avoid it as much as I can and drive about 7 mins further from home to the next Tims. At least they say hi & good morning at the other location. This VP and Sheppard location are disrespectful per definition. They give me my coffee at the window then ask me to park by the THANK YOU sign about 5 feet from the window so they can bring out my tea biscuit and bagel. By the time pull forward, the young man is already there with my food. Why couldnt you just give it to me at the window. You can tell when there is a store competition happening because they get meaner and just brush you away. What is happening??? TimHortons is a staple in Toronto and the employees are ruining it for everyone. If you had a good experience at this location, please share the time and day you went there, so that i can go at that time and have a good experience...
Read moreThe staff at this Tim Hortons, I didn't like the way they treated my husband and myself very well. I asked for something it and they made me feel, like it was a big deal. And we even gave them a tip. And I regretted after. And we watched the way they were treating the other customers and It wasn't very nice. Also the restaurant was dirty, and it wasn't very busy, and all they were doing was talking with one another to me,I found that very rude. They should have taken the time to clean up the tables for the next customer's. If you ask me, they should be firing these employees, and hiring new employees that will do their jobs. And make sure that they have better customer service and enjoy what they are doing. Because I've worked in Tim Hortons in Stratford and I also worked at the McDonald's in Stratford at the same time. And not once I got a complaint from any customers. I'm almost 50 years old and I always was pleasant to all the customers. I have worked with customers at a few places in my life and I loved it and I always got customers telling my boss's, that I was a very pleasant person to deal with. So this Tim Hortons really needs to fix this problem fast, because It's not...
