My friend had a concerning experience at this Tim Horton's location that I feel compelled to share. During their time working here, they faced some significant challenges that affected their health and well-being.
Firstly, there was a situation where they were dealing with COVID-19, and despite their condition, the manager pressured them to work and even threatened to fire them if they didn't comply. Unfortunately, about half an hour into their shift, they blacked out and collapsed. Shockingly, it took the manager a whole 20 minutes to call 911 for assistance. What's more concerning is that, despite clear evidence on camera, the manager refused to acknowledge their COVID-19 status to the paramedics.
Another incident involved a mandatory dental appointment that couldn't be rescheduled. When they informed their manager, they were forced to take an unplanned two-week leave. Later, when they provided documentation regarding a knee injury, they were prevented from returning to work for an additional two weeks, until they obtained three medical notes stating they were fit to work. To add to the frustration, they weren't compensated for the expenses incurred in obtaining those notes.
The manager also doesn’t provide the owner’s contact information no matter how many time you ask. He doesn’t want them to know how he treats his workers. Overtime isn’t paid and if you clock out at 5 mins before your end of ur shift (ex. 5pm) you will not get paid for the hour (from 4pm to 4:55pm). Too much pressure and work for the person responsible for the “bagel bar”. Very exhausting and stressful.

Read moreStaff at this place are friendly and sweet. The only downside is that they are not organized, working in very chaotic dynamic, hence don’t pay attention. It’s my second time they gave my order to someone else. Today I just ordered everything crescent and customized it to extra eggs with extra cheese, and they handed it over to a senior lady who opened my order and started testing it with her. I asked them about my order, then they started asking one another , finally they inquired the old lady 👵 what did she ordered and whether this is her order? At this moment, I had to storm out, escaping these messy people without even waiting for them give me that already opened sandwich.

Read moreThis place does not believe in the adage: the customer is king! I ordered a potato wedges along with a small black coffee! At the time of placing the order I was not informed that there were no wedges. Later when they gave me my drink I was told that i had to wait 10 minutes for my order. The 10 minutes wait turned to be an agonizing 19 minutes wait. When the wedges arrived the employee at the counter gave me a dirty look and sort of just pushed the carton of food at me with no word of apology !! Extremely unlikely to go there again!!! They should realize that because of us customers Tim Hortns is what it is !!! Mistakes and delays happen but at least be polite and deal with the situation...
