Wiki Hut located in the Lawrence/Allen Mall is definitely was a happen upon type of stop as some of the food stores were closed and I was hungry I really did not want to stop somewhere else. The food was good. I ordered fried rice/noodle, veggie and Honey chicken/crispy chicken. It was one meal to go. I ate in the car as I really was famish. I was not aware that it was a specialty fried rice I though it was a veggie fried rice but, not the staff fault as I really did not look at the names on the glass I just ordered. I had not ordered Honey chicken before and it was tangy taste nothing like sweet and sour as I asked for that but, not the right place, lol. The lady explained that but she gave a bit of the gravy so it was nice. The crispy chicken was as said crispy and that is good. The mild noodles was good as well. I think because I was loaded I paid about twenty three dollars as I had food, lol. I was glad to try something different. I won't say I would not go back but, for this mall it isn't a first choice but the service was nice. Nice in Toronto is appreciated as it does not happen much. In all give Wiki Hut a try. Hopefully a good...
Read moreToday, while shopping with my wife, we stopped here for lunch and ordered two combos. After paying and sitting down, I realized they had given me someone else’s food. I brought it back, and they immediately asked what I had ordered—which I appreciated.
However, they then tipped the returned food straight back into the display trays, which was incredibly concerning from a health and safety standpoint. After that, they made me wait nearly 10 minutes until the line cleared so they could figure out how much more to charge me.
The meal I returned was a veggie combo ($11), but I had originally ordered a protein combo ($12). I was honestly shocked—they gave me the wrong meal, and yet they made me wait while they figured out how to squeeze an extra dollar out of me, before realizing I had paid the correct ammount anyway! And doing all this while making direct eye contact as they dumped returned food back into the serving tray? Totally...
Read moreOn Saturday September 7 2025 at 11:30 am, I walked past your location in the Lawrence Allen Centre (North York) and the server was passing out samples to people walking by. When I extended my hand for a sample, she said she would not give me because I wasn’t going to buy a meal. The other passerby’s did not purchase a meal either but it didn’t stop her from offering them a sample. The server’s assumptions and behaviour towards me was 100% discriminatory. I let her know that she cannot offer other people a sample and then not offer me a sample. I told her coworker what happened. Her coworker apologized on behalf of her rude coworker however when she asked her coworker to apologize to me directly m, the coworker justified her discriminatory behaviour. I will make sure to share on social media about the discriminatory behaviour...
