Unfortunately, Stacey and Everette below have fallen victim to Tim Hortons new American owners. The only thing you can trust at Tim's these days is the (Hot) coffee. Service, food quality and accuracy have all taken a severe hit since Tim's sold out. The new hybridized model has seen an increase in prices for everything from coffee, doughnuts and some terribly cooked cheap food offerings. In fact the prices are terribly outrageous on many of their offerings. Day old doughnuts are sold as fresh at full price and food is never served hot, warm at best. Prices differ from store to store on basic items like coffee. $2.25 for XL coffee at one store and $2.35 at another. Elimination of rush lines for coffee only orders makes for unbearably long line times for what amounts to garbage food while people order 4 course meals for the entire family while you wait for a simple coffee. The new owners take advantage of people who don't know what decent food is. Tim's has fallen quickly from grace and what it once was. Justin Bieber doesn't know squat about food. He's just being used to impress the 'Canadian'-ness of Tim's which is no longer true. And they charge extra for branded Bieber barf. Sickening on a country wide scale. Tim Horton is rolling in his grave. If he comes back as a zombie I guarantee the new Tim Hortons overlords will have their brains eaten. So...coffee, fine, avoid pretty much EVERYTHING else! How is a doughnut worth $2.00? No matter how "Special" it is. "Special" is just another way of saying, give us more money. Tim Hortons must think we're pretty stupid. Well I don't appreciate the inference, or being treated as if I'm stupid. If you're new to Canada or didn't grow up going to Tim's then you don't understand. You're being soaked. And they don't...
Read moreThey really need to either train their staff properly or hire new employees because it’s clear that customer service is not a priority here. This location has some of the rudest and most arrogant staff I’ve ever encountered.
This isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue, which is why I’m finally bringing it up. A couple of days ago, I had another bad experience with a middle-aged blonde woman named Yana. She was grumpy and completely indifferent while serving customers. My friends and I ordered three drinks, one of which was a large black coffee with two sugars. As soon as I saw her, I regretted making the purchase because of a past encounter where she was rude and argumentative when I politely mentioned my drink was missing sugar. Since then, I had avoided this location, but unfortunately, I had no choice but to stop by this time as I didn’t want to drive far away due to the snow.
The place wasn’t even busy, yet I still had an issue. I ordered a watermelon refresher, a small double coffee, and a medium black coffee. When I got back to my car, I realized the tray she handed me was soaking wet because she had given me a broken lid, causing my coffee to spill all over my coat. I was in a rush and didn’t want to go back and argue with her, but it was incredibly frustrating.
It’s obvious that the manager and hiring team are lazy and don’t care about improving customer service. Just look at the comments—complaints are piling up, and they’re doing nothing about it. If they don’t start hiring better staff, this location won’t last long. I’ve already told my friends never to come here again. Absolutely...
Read moreConsistently slow service, lineups take a long time to move. Seems short-staffed.
The parking lot is a plus, if it's not full of Uber drivers and people sitting in their cars. I can't rely on finding parking here. Inside the store is usually pretty clean, the bathrooms see a LOT of action between the college students from next door, and delivery drivers. The food here is the quality you'd expect from a Tim's, but the speed and service make this a last-resort stop for me, especially when advance ordering via the app isn't available. Even when the app is working, sometimes I'll be waiting for ten minutes before a worker tells me they're out of the thing I ordered. They can't refund, so I have to figure out what they'll give me that's available, and wait for them to make it. This has happened several times over months.
Today I watched a woman with a walker get in line - she was probably eighth, probably was going to take her ten or more minutes to order. I thought Tim Hortons was supposed to be quick and affordable? The prices keep going up, the service gets improbably worse. This location is consistently disappointing/frustrating.
Overall, if you can go to another...
