I went here for the first time on a date during the week. It was pretty crowded, but we were able to find a table. My date & I both ordered a drink & a meal before playing games (I also ordered a snack cup with my drink).

We got our drinks within 10-15 minutes of being seated & starting a game.

2 hours passed without us getting our meals. My date went to ask why it was taking so long. The male employee replied that he forgot our meals. Meanwhile, many other groups within the space received their food and drinks (presumably in a timely manner).

No apologies for the wait. No offer to ensure we get our food as quickly as possible considering it was their mistake. He actually just asked if we still wanted the food. Maybe 20 minutes later, we received our meals.

I never got the snack cup also lol.

Worth mentioning we were the only black folks in the restaurant until 10 30ish pm. IDK if it was racism, or if their electronic menu system severely glitched and missed our orders (though we ordered food & drinks at the same time & received the drinks just fine).

The female employee seemed kind & offered us a discount for the trouble. Throughout my night, the male employee seemed to intentionally avoid looking at my date & I (no response to things we said, looking away when we tried to establish eye contact, etc). It was busy at times, but we're customers too and he didn't seem to care.

Anyways, I probably won't come back. No interest in being treated like this again. Fair warning to any other black folks who are looking for a cute spot in Scarborough.

Terrible service. I ordered take-out food tonight (Pepper Shrimp), when I arrived for the food, they told me there is no food here under that name. I spent about 15 mins there, waitin and asking the lady and also the fat man at the counter about my Christmas eve order, and they "assured me" there was "NO" order under that name. Not having any more time to waste, I left. Two hours later, they called to say the food is now here and that I am wrong for leaving because I didn't say if it was a single or a tray ordered. They say the reason for saying I am wrong for leaving, is because coincidentally, there were two orders under the same exact name tonight. Mind you, this is after they said they was no order under that name. The owner or who ever was on the phone.. then proceeded to say that I must "choke" and "die"  on whatever I'm eating tonight. I am very disappointed in the customer service of this establishment. They have no clue how to treat customers or quality customer service. Why would I go there physically if I did not want to do business and pick up the food!? Terrible business. I will not be choking tonight, sorry. Beware of this...

I went to inquire about hosting an event with this venue. One of the workers told us via the phone that the owner would answer our questions but they wouldn't be available in venue until just after 6. We decided to kill some time and show up, have a few drinks while we waited. Approximately, 6.30pm my brother asked the same lady about the ETA of the owner, the time has now changed to roughly 8pm. When my brother told her she mentioned over the phone that the owner would arrive just after 6, she got defensive. Now at this point we're told the owner wasn't coming in. She seemed moody and unpleasant the entire time we were there. We didn't bother sticking around, I had one drink and left. Lousy customer service, not welcoming at all, just odd.

They could've made better use of the space, it's very open yet minimal furniture, not sure if it's usually used as a nightclub or what.

Professional services goes a long way, which they lack. If I owned that place I'd be all over trying to bring in more business OR train your staff to be able to answer basic questions regarding renting out the place. Missed opportunity for them. There's no need to come...
