It was a truly disappointing experience. We ordered a sushi boat that was supposed to include a selection of sashimi, sushi, and rolls. Unfortunately, almost everything fell short. The sashimi was clearly not fresh—my wife actually had to spit it out because the taste was so unpleasant, which completely ruined our appetite. The rolls tasted as if they had been prepared a long time before being served; the rice was dry and the texture was off, making them almost inedible. Even the sushi pieces were lackluster and poorly presented. The only saving grace was that a few pieces of sashimi were passable, so at least we had something we could eat. After our meal, I looked up more reviews and was surprised to see so many positive comments about this place. It seems like we were just very unlucky on our visit, but based on our experience, I doubt we would return.

I don't know if we just went on a bad day, but we were very disappointed by this highly rated restaurant. We opted for the Love Boat D, which came with Uni. It was 20 dollars more than the Love Boat C. The uni tasted terrible. I'm confident it had gone bad. The scallop was good. The salmon was OK? But one of us got a scale in our mouth and I was constantly picking tendon(?) pieces out of my mouth. Tuna was frozen. Two of the rolls were a yam roll and a cucumber roll. For 120$ I found this overpriced and below average quality. We tried out best to finish what we could but we didn't even bother taking the leftovers home.

Seems to be a Korean-owned sushi restaurant. Not many people dine in, so I assume they primarily do takeout. Fish does not taste flavourful for sushi or sashimi, compared to other sushi restaurants. Portion sizes are fair, but prices are on the high side. Decor is a bit outdated and they could use a renovation. I would normally give them 3-stars, but they gave an extra salad and soup for free, along with ice cream. So I'll give them 4-stars. They also offer cash discount.

I would never go to this place again, and never recommend anyone to even eat anything in this restaurant. I ordered a medium party tray yesterday and it cost me $46 after tax. The sushi rolls in the party tray was terrible, containing almost no good stuff to eat. Most of the rolls were cucumber rolls, some of them were stinky spicy tuna rolls (after read other people's comments I realize why they make that tuna rolls so stinky, because only by making them so spicy will the stinkness be covered. we throwed out all of those tuna rolls, can't eat them at all! ), and some other rolls I don't even know the names but made of fried yams. I also ordered a black dragon roll which should contain eel and avocado, fish roes and cucumber, however, we only see very little thin piece of eel and fried yams inside. Everyone was so disappointed about the food quality and we don't want anyone to have such bad experience like us. This restaurant should closed down with this kind of bad food quality and bad faith in selling sticky fish in the food. We throw those stinky rolls already, but we decide to report to health department about this. I wish there'd be a negative score to give to this restaurant, even one star would be too much for it! Never recommend to anyone! Your money can be wasted anyway better...

When Ninja Sushi retired I went looking for another sushi restaurant. Of several others I tried, this is a notch above in flavour, presentation and quality. My family also agreed as they wolfed down a large platter.

This is under new ownership and the hostess has an amazing memory. I remembered her from Akana Sushi 4-5 years ago and she remembered my family.

I ordered the P2 platter and they threw in extras at no charge. Their variety of fish was more than other sushi restaurants and tasted better. They gave plenty of wasabi and pickled ginger, and there was an ice pack at the bottom of the tray to keep the sashimi cool and fresh.

The price was surprisingly low for such quality and I found out that they were having a new opening sale. If you have a craving for quality sushi you should take advantage of the sale - you will not...
