Yummi's — Restaurant in Toronto

We headed with few families. Beware customers. Halal logo merely doesn't prove, it is authentically Halal by requisite norms. We went there as one of our frndz had it without verifying. We decided to turn over and left a web inquiry on email with our queries. Instead of responding in email to keep it as a proof, the owner called me today morning and was trying to assure by words, 100% halal, etc. He says we buy frm Sargent Farm blah blah. I told him when I asked the counter boy, he pulled over an ivoice frm Darray Trading Halal meat. Try searching them on internet. U will find nothing. Anyway even by Naming Sargent, doesn't prove it became as an Halal outlet. The owner said they had certificate frm Sargent as of Sargent is a certificate issuing authority. Well, I said if u really have it, why don't u display it outright to customers. Nowadays, tens of businesses have this strategy. Initially buying frm authentic supplier and then after customers gain, they start mixing their supply and ppl are kept unaware.. Only dollar speaks.! U won't find this restaurant listed on HMA, HMEC. I found Yummi's on a Youtube Video "5 UNDERRATED FOOD SPOTS IN TORONTO." I go to Yummi's at least three times a week, and I have introduced it to all my friends and family. They all love Yummi's. There chicken shawarma does not taste like any other shawarma, it taste very different and is unique, and extremely delicious. The owner of Yummi's and the staff, are very friendly people. I have gotten to know the owner on a personal level, and when he cooks the food, he cooks it like he is making it for himself, meaning he cooks with with passion. There hasn't been a single day where I have received bad service from Yummi's and I always post Instagram photos of the restaurant. Even the restaurants beside Yummi's, I see their owners coming to Yummi's and the owner of Yummi's treats them with respect, and he even provides them with missing food products if they need it. I have never seen him talk down upon any other restaurants in the plaza. Point being, if you want to taste extremely delicious shawarma, that you have never tasted anywhere before, go to Yummi's, you will not be...

Yummi’s has always had a great reputation in Scarborough so I decided to give it a try. We ordered the Chicken Shwarama wrap which was $7.00 and a Chicken Shwarama plate which was not listed on the menu. We asked if plates were available and the employee said yes so we went ahead with that. Somehow it miraculously came up to $25.00 with tax and we were a bit confused how expensive this plate must have been since it wasn’t a combo or anything. Anyways, the wrap was delicious and the plate was alright. There is no turnip nor hummus offered at this place which came to me by surprise but the added ketchup and all in the plate made it a bit bland. It’s great that they mix everything before putting the contents into the wrap so you taste everything at once. I would visit again but only for the Chicken...
