I'm so glad my cousin Aman referred me to Giga's Pinoy Carinderia - what a hidden gem in Cochrane!✨
From the very first bite, you can taste the love and authenticity in every dish. This is real, home-style Filipino cooking - the kind that warms your heart and fills your soul. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors are bold, and the quality is outstanding. Whether you grew up with Filipino food or you're trying it for the first time, this place is an absolute must.
Beyond the food, it’s the people who make the experience so special. The team at Giga’s are some of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve met - you can tell they pour their heart into everything they do. You’re not just a customer here - you’re family.
If you’re looking for a spot that feels like a warm hug and tastes like home, Giga’s is the place. Highly, highly recommended! 💛🍛🥥

The worst part of the meal was the chicken inasal…. 3 pcs of BBQ chicken thighs for $26 should have more chicken on them. They were pressed flat and stripped of meat!?!? It was just BBQ’d bones…. There’s more meat on a single KFC drumstick than what came with these. Again, disappointed not only with quality of food but also for paying near $100 (+tip) for a bad experience. You’d think they would want...
