Came in for lunch, menu is small, sometimes they offer a tapas menu for food, or several specials. We ordered a scallop pasta, wings, brisket sliders and some burgers. Wasnât expecting much, pleasantly surprised. Easily the best the best food Iâve eaten anywhere in New Brunswick. Cocktails are excellent, good wine selection. Iâve eaten at several other places in Saint Andrews (Niger Reef, Red Herring, Rossmount Inn, The Kennedy House) I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Drewhaven and The Bicycle Thief (Halifax) are hands down the 2 best places that Iâve eaten in Atlantic Canada.
If I had any criticisms of Drewhaven, the concept is a little bit frantic, thereâs a lounge area, a cafe area, a little store area, a patio, each specific area of the business is curated fine, but lack cohesion as an overall concept. I assume theyâre trying to appeal to a wide clientele with this approach, and while itâs unique, the ambiance was somewhat unsettling, though not enough to deter me from coming back.
