It was recommended as a good breakfast restaurant. My wife and I were in St. Andrew Saturday morning and decided to give it a try. The restaurant is quaint and open, the server was friendly. That's the only positive things about the place. The food was TERRIBLE!! my wife had the omelette that was flat and likely made with just one egg, not at all fluffy, the cheese was either a cheese sauce or a slice of kraft process cheese, she said the only part of the meal any good was the raisin toast. The hash browns were actually frozen tator tots put in a deep fryer!! And the oil needs to changed cause I ate mine and was belching greasy taste all day. My wife was smarter and only ate 2. I had eggs Benedict on ham ...half a piece of ham cut in half and put on a dryed up English muffin, covered in some kind of yellow sauce that sure as heck wasn't hollandaise. 40.00 for this mess. We both said a McDonald's egg mcmuffin or breakfast burrito would have been far better. NEVER going back, it should close....

My boyfriend and I were visiting St Andrews and got breakfast at the lumberjack cafe. We got into the cafe and were deciding what to order but we were talking to plan our visit and we asked for another moment to decide. The waitress went back near the kitchen and was talking rudely about us not making our minds up yet to one of the other workers. We got to the cafe at 1:15 and they didn’t close until 2 so we didn’t understand the rush and why we were met with such rude and obnoxious behaviour. She immediately asked for our order and looped around and then immediately asked again giving us barely any time to look over the menu. She had brown hair and looked older. I was incredibly disappointed by the quality of service as the food was okay and the restaurant was cute would definitely recommend hiring a better customer service individual to not take away from the actually good restaurant. We then rushed eating because we were so uncomfortable and irritated by the lack of respect we...

🌲🥞 Breakfast Worth Waking Up For – The Lumberjack in Saint Andrews! 🥚☕

If you’re ever in beautiful Saint Andrews, NB, do yourself a favour and stop into The Lumberjack Restaurant — where the charm is local, the coffee is hot, and the omelettes are next-level delicious!

We dropped in for breakfast and were treated to one of the best omelette breakfasts we’ve had in a long time — fresh, fluffy, and packed with flavour. Served up with a side of friendly smiles and that true small-town warmth that makes you feel right at home. 💚

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this cozy spot is a must-visit. Hats off (red fedora included 😉) to The Lumberjack team for great food and genuine hospitality. We’ll definitely be back for round two!

👍 Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5 💬 Tell ‘em Jim sent you – and don’t skip the omelette!

What a quaint little gem. We came here for lunch, and it was busy, but mostly people getting sandwiches to go. I don't remember exactly what we ate (perhaps an egg BLT?), and a side of soup. It was really good. There isn't a kid menu, but the chef was happy to make my daughter a plain grilled cheese. ❤️ Staff were very friendly, and the place is clean. Tons of extra seating in the back as well (the restaurant looks smaller than it is). If we are ever back in St Andrews, I would eat here again.

Had a late breakfast here before exploring Ministers Island. I had the Salty Sailor grilled cheese. It was one of the best cheese sandwiches I have ever had. The service was spot on and the food came out hot. My only recommendation is that they change the type of tea they use. I had to ask for a second tea bag as only using 1 would not make the tea strong enough.
