King Street Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Saint Andrews

*Revised - tried it agin a year later. Crust is fantastic, and not greasy or recycled fat to cook it. Which is refreshing. Ingredients are decent but nothing special. Bumped it up a star simply because it was better than last time. Cheese seemed more pleasant this time too *

Not sure who I talked to there but she was incredibly friendly and could take a joke. So my hats off to the staff. Unfortunately the pizza and garlic fingers just weren’t 5 star for the price. Little bland. Pizza tasted good, it just wasn’t great. 10-20% less on cost and it probably would have balanced out.

Wasn’t anything in particular that offsetted the taste, ingredients tasted fine, dough fine. Maybe the sauce? Just felt kind of tasteless. Garlic fingers were decent. Benefit of the doubt, could have just been me and my particular tastes.

Dear god, when I say this is the best pizza I’ve ever had I mean it. The whole pie was flavourful, moist, crispy, and soft. From the meat to the dough everything about the pie was incredible. Not to mention the service, absolutely incredible. Being in a large group can be stressful in such a small establishment. But somehow they got everyone through in 5 minutes and had pizzas out in 10. Location wise was amazing aswell, having a small patio outside overlooking the pier and ocean. In conclusion everything about King Street Pizza is absolutely amazing. 5 stars all the way. Definitely recommend!!! A group of us from Halifax were at the Algonquin for the weekend. Made a large order for like 7 pizzas, maybe 8. One of us (me) is gluten free, which is why we chose King Street Pizza. Placed the order, they delivered to the resort. They missed a couple pizzas, which is understandable with big orders.
