Fatburger Walnut Grove — Restaurant in Township of Langley

UPDATE: After seeing this review, someone from the location contacted me and offer to make it right by inviting me to the same meal free of charge. I’ve yet to take them up on it but it was a welcome surprise and much appreciated. I’ll post a final update on this after I’ve done so.

Ordered & paid on the app, a 4 piece tenders meal. When I arrived I wasn’t greeted as in the past but, ok not the biggest deal. I could see my order was ready and waiting and tried to catch someone’s attention as the cashier was taking orders from two guys ahead of me. This is where it really went off the rails. A “gentleman” came in after I did and clearly one of the other female employees knew him as she acknowledged him immediately. He brushed past me so closely that he knocked my shoulder. She took him to the till, gave him his order and then he proceeded to have trouble with his method of payment. Apparently I was still doing my best invisible person impression as still no one acknowledged me. By the time the two in front finished ordering and I was finally greeted about 5 minutes has gone by. I let her know when she handed it over what had happened. Insult to injury, food was not hot by the time I got it home AND they were tiny tenders! Picture attached was the biggest one in the box. Being a vegetarian, it's sometimes difficult finding vegetarian friendly options that actually taste good, but wow there Impossible burger tasted amazing! I have never had such a flavorful and juicy impossible burger that actually tasted like beef/meat! There are other vegetarian options as well, but I chose the impossible burger and it was crafted really nicely. The burger was a bit pricey being that it was $11.99, but I'd say it's an experince because it was very big and tasty. I enjoyed the service as well, everyone was very friendly and greeted every customer that came in, and came around to provide me anything I needed. Warning: long review. Firstly I havent been to a fatburger in years due to not having one close to where I live. This was about the most delicious burger I have had in about a year or more. (Hard to beat homemade, but this was too notch) Let us start with the location- it happened to be convenient for me which is always a plus.
