Noodlebox — Restaurant in Township of Langley

Honestly don’t go here. I’ve been here three times and the service was absolutely trash. First time was the best service I got out of them which is why I continued to try and go back. The second time the food I ordered had no flavour and paying $45 for two meals… I expect to taste my food lol anyway. Called that time and the guy apologized and said he wrote my name down for a 50% discount on my next meal. I had asked to speak to the manager but he pretended he didn’t understand what I was asking.. in frustration I accepted the discount and went about my day.. went back today and told the guy that my name should be down for that discount and he didn’t even try and hide the fact that he wasn’t even looking for name lol just pulled out 3-4 separate books and looked at the LAST two pages? Of each And looked me dead in the eyes and said “your name isn’t in any of these books” I laughed and was like.. yeah that checks out. Anyway. My fault for thinking they are competent in anyway. Please don’t go here.. waste of time money and patience. The restaurant itself inside is nice and clean I will give them that but their workers are straight trash at client care and they really don’t give a shit if you’re happy with their work or not so. Again. I urge you to go...

I want to like Noodlebox, really. My partner’s favourite dish is the spicy peanut noodle, and he loves it every time.

I also want to clarify I have been to other Noodlebox locations and have enjoyed the dishes I’ve had there. This seems to be a consistent issue with this specific location.

I tried one dish (with the previous management) and about halfway down the noodles were burnt. Completely black, smelled strongly, burnt. It would be unmistakeable when cooking it. Awful experience, but at my partner’s encouragement we gave it another try with the new management.

I was so excited for the shoyu ramen. What I got was underwhelming, to say the least. I ordered Mild/Medium, it’s incredibly spicy and has visible red pepper flakes everywhere. The noodles are very overcooked and mushy, and other than being spicy there’s barely any flavour.

To their credit, the spring roll I ordered was delicious.

I will definitely be back, in search of a dish I can hopefully make a staple...
