I found out place a day before their opening ceremony. I was so excited and walked across from my work place to check it out the next day. Staff were nice waving from inside! Recently I went over again, when they were giving away free coffee and cookie which were very tasty! I ordered a Power bowl. It was tasty, nice presentation. I like the fact the chef addressed me by my first name when serving my food. It definitely added a more cozy feels to this place. I love the layout of the sitting area, bright, clean, very comfy whether you are coming by yourself or in group. Staff were friendly. Washrooms were clean. What makes this place so special is that it has "no tipping policy", I love this idea! The power bowl aka poke bowl was freshly made, but I felt the rice was little firmer and should have been slightly warmer. The salmon was grilled at perfection! It was moist and no fishy smell at all. Honestly, I really wish it was a bigger bowl considering the price because I still feel hungry after finish eating it, LOL. I hope they come up with lunch special combo with reasonable price and announce it ahead of time or daily announcement with limited availability and allow client to do pre orders too.

Lots of nice pastries, quality espresso beverages. Small selection of good quality brunch options(which I like- I'd rather few well done options than a place that has too many options that end up being mediocre). Also, those little rectangle hashbrown things are spectacular. I'm not a hashbrown person usually, but those are legit. Clean, cute atmosphere- only thing I'd suggest is some different music. The drab kind of lullaby/montage sounding music kind of brings the energy down. There's nicer chill music out there for sure- maybe some old soul music or something would bring some more warmth/inviting feeling. The staff are so lovely and friendly. The cafe and bathrooms were very clean!

Beautiful space for a coffee or meal! Matcha latte was good. Got the smoked salmon benny- salmon was thinner than I'm used to which was delightful. Egg was cooked under what I asked for, but not bad. Hash brown was SO good but photo of the menu item showed 2 pieces and I only got one. After re-reading the menu, it says "hash brown" not "hash brownS". So... Not sure how many it was supposed to come with, but I would have eaten 10! You take your own cutlery and order number to the table. Serve your own water and take your dirty dishes to the dish bin. My kid enjoyed looking through the glass kitchen window to see the action. Only one cook on line at the time and she was rocking it!

TLDR: restaurant looks nice and there's a lot of positive reviews, which is deceiving. Got an undercooked smash burger patty and the rest of the order (sides and drinks) was disappointing.

Read reviews of people saying that their smash burgers are really good, so I ordered online a double smash burger for pick up (which was a smooth process).

Upon arriving, it was full of customers and inside looked neat and clean which seemed promising for the food quality.

After I picked up my food and went back to the office to eat, after 1 bite of the burger, I noticed that one of the two patties were undercooked, while the other one was cooked fine. I ended up taking out the 1 undercooked patty (which costed an extra $4.50) and eating the rest.

According to their menu, their beef is ground from 1 supplier using 1 cut of beef (brisket), which should mean that the burger can be eaten "medium rare". However, for the uninitiated, it could be unsettling to look at.

Time to unleash the burger nerd within me: The fact that it is a smash burger and it still ended up undercooked means that they're using frozen ground beef or their grill isn't hot enough to cook the meat properly, which means there's no crust (maillard reaction) developing to make a delicious burger, defeating the purpose of doing a smash burger. This may show that Victory Coffee + Kitchen is just hopping on a food trend and poorly executing it.

The bun looked handmade, but was too thick (throwing off the ratio/proportions), their trinity sauce (burger sauce) didn't taste like much, pretty sure they used green leaf lettuce instead of butter leaf lettuce that was described in the menu.

Apart from the burger, the fries were soggy (I'll give them benefit of the doubt though since I got take out and the container steamed the fries up), side salad was all green leaf lettuce with 2 pieces of grape tomatoes, 2 small slices of cucumbers and a tasteless watery dressing, and the matchaccino (matcha/cappuccino) tasted bland, expensive ($5.25), and small portion (~6 oz).

Normally, I wouldn't leave a poor review, but the combination of reviews boasting about the burger and the undercooked burger patty I received set me off. I also saw another review with a photo of undercooked chicken from ~2 months ago, so I'm convinced that the kitchen did not improve within that time, has a lot of training and development to go through, and that the positive reviews are from family/friends.

Updated review: Changed from 2 stars to 1 star. I originally thought 2 was fair because the restaurant looks nice and the service was alright. In the end though, food is the most important factor to consider and I would give the food 0...

Victory Coffee + Kitchen. Nestled in Langley, this unassuming cafe is rewriting the rules of gastronomic delight.

Let's start with the food. It's nothing short of amazing. Each dish delivering an explosion of flavours that rivals, if not surpasses, those of high-end restaurants. What's truly remarkable is that the prices don't reflect the extraordinary quality. Victory Coffee + Kitchen has managed to elevate the dining experience without the hefty price tag, making it a true contender against more upscale establishments.

Yet, it's not just the food that sets Victory apart; it's the entire experience. The atmosphere is a breath of fresh air—a positive and vibrant energy that envelops you the moment you walk through the door. The decor is a blend of modern sophistication and warmth, creating an inviting space that feels both upscale and approachable.

What truly struck a chord with me is Victory Coffee + Kitchen's commitment to a mission beyond just serving exceptional food. They give freely to other organizations and they even REFUSE to accept tips. It really speaks volumes about their philosophy that "hospitality is not for sale." It's a refreshing perspective in an industry often driven by transactions. This commitment to genuine hospitality, paired with their support for local initiatives and sustainable practices, makes Victory Coffee + Kitchen a beacon of responsible and ethical dining.

The cleanliness and impeccable upkeep of the cafe further solidify its status as the best in town. From spotless tables to gleaming countertops, every corner reflects a commitment to excellence.

In a world where exceptional cafes are a rarity, Victory Coffee + Kitchen stands out as a pioneer. It's not just a place to eat; it's a movement filled with positive vibes, and ethical dining. We need more establishments like Victory—ones that redefine the cafe experience and make exceptional food and genuine hospitality accessible to everyone. This is not just a cafe; it's a victory for the...

We are so incredibly grateful to the Victory Coffee + Kitchen Team who provided our breakfast and lunch on the morning of our wedding. If you're looking for a vendor who is not only professional and accommodating, but genuinely kind and generous, this is the one.

From the beginning, they were quick to respond and so easy to work with—willing to adjust the order and make things work for us without any stress or hesitation. That kind of flexibility and care meant so much on such a meaningful day.

But what truly set them apart were the thoughtful touches. Along with the delicious food, they included a card with our breakfast that we read while getting ready—it was such a heartfelt moment that brought real emotion to the start of the day. They also added complimentary coffees, which were not only incredibly kind but absolutely appreciated by everyone in the room.

The food itself was fresh, flavourful, and exactly what we needed—comforting, nourishing, and prepared with care.

And beyond their catering services, their actual café is just as special. It’s warm, welcoming, and full of heart—the kind of place you want to stop by regularly, whether you're grabbing coffee, enjoying a quiet meal, or just soaking up the inviting atmosphere. It’s clear that everything they do is driven by community and care.

If you're thinking about working with them for an event—or simply looking for your new favourite local spot—you won’t be disappointed. Their kindness, generosity, and attention to detail truly make them stand out....
