I do not understand what is happening with the service industry as of late. I come to this location frequently and the last few times there have been mistakes to my order but nothing outside of the ordinary, ie: regular pickles instead of extra, burgers made messy, Chicken warm instead of hot. But it seems over the last few months the quality of service and accuracy of orders has plummeted.
The drive-thru workers act and sound like they doesn't you there, they speak with a dead pan mono-tone as if to say "Why are you here bothering me, go away?!" They won't even open the window the take your payment, they haphazardly and limply push the card machine out the window and turn away and wait for the beep before pulling it in without any acknowledgement.
They hardly ever get your order at the first attempt and will ask you repeat what you said several times, then still somehow manage to read it back incorrectly or miss items.
Then the folks making the stuff still further manage to mess up the orders. I ordered 2 Bacon Breakfast wraps, no potatoes, extra bacon on both. Sounds simple right? Ha! I ended up getting 2 breakfast wraps, 1 just regular, Bacon, Potato, Egg, Cheese the other JUST Egg, Potatoes and Cheese. So not only did I pay more for the Wraps, as they for sure always remember to charge more when you add items, but then they didn't even add what was paid for AND only added what was requested to be left off.
I would caution patrons to check their orders while still at the window for accuracy and to make sure your order is made right and not a sloppy mess. It's a shame, because I really like the food even though it is bad for you. But the service has become so poor, that it doesn't even feel...
Read moreThis Wendys location at 200th & 86th was much quieter than the two locations I go. One of the Wendys I frequent is where Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge merge into Ridge Meadows and where Lougheed Hwy stays right and Dewdney Trk goes to the left. My other go to Wendys location is in The Smart Centers just off 64th @ 201st in the Township of Langley. I count down the days until its time to go get me one of Wendys perfectly cold, ridiculously frosty, soft, smooth & oh sooo magically delicious CHOCOLATE or VANILLA FROSTY for only.......99¢!!!!!! This one particular female staff member at this Wendys was very personable, she was friendly, coming out from behind the counter to make sure the Customers didn't need anything, to see if maybe the customers wanted their soda refilled, and she was also out there in the lobby talking with Customers as she cleared the dirty tables... NEVER HAVE I SEEN SUCH A HARD WORKING, WONDERFULLY FRIENDLY, AND EXTREMELY HELPFUL WENDYS EMPLOYEE RESPRESENTING THE WENDYS BRAND WITH SUCH A LEVEL OF PROFESSIONALISM, A NATURAL LEVEL OF LEADERSHIP and A WAY OF MAKING THE GUESTS FEEL IMPORTANT, AND WANT TO KEEP COMING BACK TO THAT WENDYS FOR THAT STAFF MEMBERS WONDERFULLY WARM WELCOME, AND NEVER WAIVERING FROM HER OWN TOP NOTCH, GRADE A, AMAZING CUSTOMER...
Read moreVery seldom do I give 5 stars for a fast food joint and this is one of them. Its not so much about the food but more about the Customer service. The lady at the counter at the time was very friendly and accomodating. I told the lady that my son has a nut allergy and the kitchen staff handling the food at the back changed gloves to accomodate my son. Heck the food staff do not even wear gloves at McDonalds which is a total turnoff to me so knowing that Wendys is still concerned about food safety is great. More on the lady in the counter. I ordered a second cheeseburger for my son and she got out of her way and advised us on alternatives because the cheeseburger kiddie meal may no longer be enough for a growing boy. Thumbs UP! In this age of technology and impersonal ordering counters, having great personal service is a definite game changer. Hope more servers are like her. Restaurant was clean as a whole and the food was served warm. The Taco salad was a welcome addition. Keep...
