Kootenay's Taste of India — Restaurant in Trail

Went in person and ordered 3 meals to go and paid for my order. Was told it would be half an hour (there was no one there all the staff was sitting at tables relaxing) and I left . My daughter went in 40 min later to pick up the order , they told her they didn’t have my name and to find out exactly what it was , she came checked went back they told her that order didn’t exist she must have ordered in castlegar.

I went in and they decided they remembered, and they were making it . Left again , came back 10 min later still not ready, they said there were at least 3 orders ahead of me, and it would be a while . I asked for my money back as they obviously forgot to make my order and didn’t even apologize, they said no!

After some debating, they they gave me back my money and I left. Will never be back. FYI , if you do order from this place, don’t pay first, you are not as important if they already have...

Nice authentic Indian restaurant in small town. They opened in late 2022 and glad they did . Their main first branch is in Castlegar.

Owners are very nice and all the staff are friendly. I ordered few times for pick and the food was always ready in 20-30 minutes . The spice level is great !!! You can adjust it and they are very good in this because some Indian restaurants can’t really make it mild , yet these guys are great .

I wanted to share some feedback about my recent dining experience at your establishment - your food was absolutely great! The flavors were authentic and delicious, leaving me thoroughly impressed.

Moreover, I must commend the owner for being incredibly friendly and welcoming. The warm hospitality added to the overall enjoyment of the meal.
