Came for a work trip and ordered take away, and I don't usuallyy write reviews but this was an unfavourable food experience. Bread was rather burnt. I would not recommended this to anyone who likes Indian food. This restaurant is for those who don't have an exposure to Indian food or in a hurry to eat something. I am not a hard person to please when it comes to food. I had to write a review for this restaurant because I was so incredibly disappointed in it. For someone trying Indian food for the first time, please do not go here (or any other time) or base indian cuisine off of it. I can't believe I just wasted $50 on this place.
There is another indian restaurant that we usually get delivery from in Kelowna and we've been very happy with that restaurant (I am not including the name because my intention is not to try and give them more business, but they have better tripadvisor reviews). We decided to try Ticca Tikka because it was the first few results when searching for Indian food and we were in town, but they are clearly deprived when it comes to Indian food. I feel...
Read moreGuys, their food is dang delicious. They are the most slept on restaraunt in Trail. I did not give them a great review on service, but ONLY because they are so slept on, they dont want to overstaff themselves for the nights they arent busy. The service was good, polite, prompt as they could handle on a busy night they werent expecting… So if you go on a busy night, it might be slow. But its worth it. If more people go they can get more staff. The other indian restaraunt in town has dull tomato sauce tasting sauces. At Ticca tikka, i can promise you, your meals flavors will be robust and delightful. Definitely reccomend. Even when we get takeout, everything is warm and delicuous by the time we eat it. Others do...
Read moreThis is the opposite of fast food, and it's worth the wait! The food, so delicious and flavorful, was artfully prepared by our server. I don't know how she manages being front and back of house, but if you go there and you see a young lady running the place by herself, just relax and wait. She's very sweet, and a definite master in her kitchen. We had the fish pakora appetizer, butter chicken, one of their signature pizzas, garlic naan and papadum. Nothing was as expected, but so much better! The spice combinations were delicate, smokey, deep, and very complex. Even the sauces and condiments, like their chili paste, hot sauce and tamarind sauce were amazing. I want to go back already and we just...
