A&W Canada — Restaurant in Vancouver

i used to come here often when i was renting nearby. the food are okey just like any regular fast food chains. the service here was okey. however there's one time i tried to order sth else and i pointed to the menu on the wall but the employee just seems confused, after some failed attempts to tell them what i want i just order the same old things again. these are minor issues to me. The big problem is idk from what time on, the washroom just became nasty,.. with all due respect, but the old people would use the washroom and got piss everywhere, on the toilet and floor and seems no one's going to clean it:. this happened to me when a time i'm lining up to use the washroom and there a old lady in front of me, piss everywhere after she used, i told the employee about this but i waited for a while no one wad going to clean it, i was quite urgent to go that day and there's no other store have washroom that's letting the costumer to use( fr the station or sth should really build like a public washroom i mean) so i have no choice, i have to go in and clean it a bit myself so i can use the toilet. perhaps i was also in a bad state at the time but having to do this and use the nasty washroom i almost had a slight mental break down no jokes, and the trauma (i know it can't compare to the really mind breaking traumatic experiences )till now i still when i think of this experience i'd uncontrollably gaged. i no longer goes here afterwards. write this review now is because i came back to there a few months ago wanting to see if the washroom is still the same, and disappointing i find out it's still the same, smells like piss and piss everywhere. Also needed to add that there's two washroom and the employee is only letting you use the nasty one, and the other one i see employee coming out of it it seems to be working but they're not letting you use it... it's truly a wonder to me that i don't see much reviews here complaining about...

On this visit, i used their online coupon and redeeming it was a breeze. I asked them to pour their root beer in one of their chilled mugs. When i drank from it, it was really refreshing because it was pretty hot that day. A&W hands down makes the best root beer out of all fast food places. I ordered their teen burger i thought and it is fresh and delicious as it can be. The Tomatoes and lettuce were perfect. Just the right amount of spices were given for the beef patty. Teen burgers were only $3.50 at the time which was very worth it. The fact that this A&W is located at the skytrain station makes it super convenient. I hope more stores and fast food places like a&w at marine gateway open up at other skytrain locations. Its really the most convenient thing ever. The dining area is nice, modern, and very clean. When customers leave their trays on the table, they get taken care of within minutes so the next customer can sit and eat. Service here is fast. My order arrived within 1-2 minutes and it was during the afternoon lunch rush. About 75% of the seats in the whole restaurant was occupied at the time (1PM). If you enjoy people watching like I do, sit at the stools right by the windows. Hundreds of interesting looking passengers from the skytrain station above passed by while i ate my lunch. As for pricing, A&W is a tad expensive if paying full price but as long as they good deals i'll be back a lot more and especially at this...

A while ago, I left a review saying my Chubby Chicken Burger wasn’t very “chubby” — it was quite thin. Maricel personally reached out to me, kindly explained the situation, and even offered to make things right. She invited me back and treated me to a new chicken burger — and wow, this time it was super thick and juicy! She even added fries and a drink, which I really appreciated.

Maricel took the time to explain that their chicken is made from real, whole chicken breast, not the mixed meat-and-flour kind you might find at other fast-food places. Because of that, the thickness can sometimes vary a little. But what truly impressed me was how much they care about their customers and the food quality.

The whole team here is so polite, friendly, and hardworking — especially during the busy lunch hours. The service is fast, the food is fresh, and the staff always greet you with a smile.
