Came upon this place as I was looking for a new coffee shop/snack shop to try out and do some work on my laptop.
I was pleasantly surprised with the place. It's a nice joint with lots of variety on its menu from a wide assortment of sandwiches, pastries, cakes, snacks, hot and cold beverages, and sodas.
I personally thought the Long John donut could be better but it was pretty average. The iced dark caramel latte was good and it wasn't overly sweet.
The gentleman who worked there was very nice and the other staff provided great service.
I don't know if this place is new or not but I have never seen it before today.
Overall I will definately be coming back to try out some of their sandwiches and other deserts and coffees/coffee style beverages.
It has wifi and above average seating if you want to sit and get some work done on your laptop or simply have a coffee chat with a friend or colleague or date. There is "middle-eastern" style music playing at a moderate volume. It is respectable but I probably would recommend they turn it down just a bit. It's not offensive or anything (personally like middle-eastern style music) but I do prefer my coffee shops to be low lighting and quiet. This place has brighter lights and lighter colours so think somewhere similar atmosphere/environment/seating to something like Waves.

Read moreI loved the dill-filled herb cream cheese on everything bagel. It's about $2 more than the Tim horton's option, and I would say it's worth a try. I hope you develop your menu further and make the user (customer) experience more seamless and stay afloat your business in the competitive downtown. There are not that many choices for bagels even though the name of the establishment suggests it's a bagelery, specializing in bagels. Maybe it's because they're quite new? The menu and price signages could improve for sure, but I think they're working on that (maybe). To the owner, please update your website. Your phone number is a fake one still and your 'order online' leads to nowhere. They seem to have some sweet pastry options and good range of drinks, but lacking in bagel options. I hope to visit again soon and try your other sandwiches....
Read moreWe stumbled upon Awesome Bagel and were so glad we did! It’s the kind of place where you just walk in, order at the counter, and grab a seat when your name’s called — super easy and relaxed. The vibe is casual but welcoming, and the staff take your order with a big smile and genuinely friendly energy.
We had coffee that totally hit the spot — smooth, flavorful, and just what we needed to start the day. The real star, though, was the bagel sandwiches. Every one of them was packed with fresh, tasty ingredients. You could really tell the quality — everything tasted delicious, fresh, and surprisingly healthy too.
It’s the kind of breakfast spot you wish you lived closer to, because you’d be there all the time. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something low-key but...
