Thank you for your reply, but I find it necessary to correct the misleading and defensive narrative you've attempted to present. 1.) Violation of privacy and intimidating behavior: Without my permission, my personal phone number was shared with the owner. He began calling me directly, which was extremely unsettling. As a female customer, this crossed a serious line and made me feel unsafe. When I calmly mentioned I’d leave an honest review — not a threat, but a right every customer holds. Being guilt-tripped or spoken to in a condescending tone afterward is unacceptable.
2.) Unhealthy and overly oily food: As for the Kadhi Pakoda, no — I was not informed that it would be excessively oily, with oil floating on top to the point it was inedible. Many reputable Indian restaurants serve delicious Kadhi without it being drenched in oil. The healthiness of Indian cuisine should not be disrespected or distorted by poor preparation standards at your end.
3.) Thirdly, I never mentioned delivery charges in my review. Bringing that up here is an attempt to distract from the real issues and tarnish my credibility, which is both unnecessary and misleading.
4.) Regarding customization, your restaurant had made certain adjustments during previous orders. This time, your staff refused — seemingly on a whim. If flexibility depends on mood rather than policy, that creates confusion and unfair expectations for your customers. Either offer consistent service or clearly state what can or cannot be done every time.
My review reflected my real experience — poor service, unhealthy food, and dismissive staff. Instead of owning up and improving, your response deflects responsibility and attempts to gaslight a paying customer. I urge others to read all reviews carefully and decide accordingly.
Best, Roopan
Very oily, not healthy food. Not cooperative staff. No good vibes. Don’t pay attention to instructions once, twice or thrice. Wastage of money, time, and health. Never...
Read moreOur first visit to this brand new location of Beeryani on Main St. The space is a bit small but bright, neat and clean. We were there for lunch on a Friday and ordered standard Indian fare, gol gappe (appetizer), butter chicken, aloo gobi, lamb biryani and naans. We also ordered mango lassi and a salt lassi (which was not on the menu, but they obliged). We were half expecting the food to taste generic. But we were more than pleasantly surprised.
They obviously took great care in their food preparation, especially their sauces, vegetables and meats. Everything was very tasty and the ingredients were fresh. The food was very flavourful, although not overly spiced. For example, the potatoes and cauliflower in the aloo gobi dish had an exquisite flavour.
Our only disappointment was that this location on Main Street didn't serve alcohol - yet. We had gone there with a hope of getting some beer or wine to accompany our meal, but it evidently they had not received their...
Read moreWe recently catered an event with Beeryani Indian Cuisine, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Every single dish was an absolute hit with our guests. The samosas were crisp and flavourful, the honey chilli cauliflower had the perfect balance of sweetness and spice, and the chilli chicken was tender, juicy, and packed with authentic flavours.
Their spring rolls were light and delicious, and the tandoori chicken wings were perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection. The taste, quantity, and quality were excellent, and the packaging was neat and professional, keeping everything hot and fresh upon arrival.
What impressed us even more was their timely delivery and the freshness of all the food items. It’s rare to find a caterer who delivers on every promise, but Beeryani truly did. We highly recommend them for any corporate events, gatherings, or celebrations if you want to leave a lasting impression on...
