Bendick's Ice Cream Factory — Restaurant in Vancouver

I’m updating my review a week later. I returned to Bendicks to buy more cookie dough ice cream. The staff remembered me and asked to make things right from my review. The customer service was amazing. They asked me to show them the defective products. They asked what they could do better. And they offered me free product to make up for the disappointments in my last purchase. 100% recommended.

3* review: I visited last Friday afternoon. Prices are excellent. The ice cream cakes are beautifully decorated and $22 each. I didn’t need one this time so I bought a few other things to assess quality. The cookie dough bites from Our Compliments were super popular with my family & we’ll be buying again ($5). The Coconut Bliss brand gluten free vegan ice cream sandwich ($3) was disgusting (salty & mealy) but that wasn’t the stores fault. Both of these products were fresh & looked pristine. I also bought small tubs of ice cream ($2) that looked like it was made on site. It was in paper tubs that say Lik on the outside. I asked the cashier where it was from and didn’t get a straight answer. Many of the containers were dirty on the outside like another reviewer mentioned. The strawberry had real fruit in it and would have been delicious if it wasn’t freezer burnt and hard as a rock. The vanilla was inedible. It had clearly fully melted, separated and refroze. Decided to give Bendick’s a shot despite the mixed reviews. Turns out that the bubble gum jce cream was really tasty, and the ice cream that I bought had no freezer burn as indicated in other reviews. Instead, the ice cream that I bought seemed to be very fresh and tasty as well as rich and creamy.

I also bought some popsicles and those were cheap and tasted really great as well, despite there probably being less things that could go wrong with some popsicles.

All in all, i’ll definitely be back when I run out of ice cream as the deals felt like they were too good to be true.

The prices certainly were much cheaper than retail store prices. I paid $2 for each small tub of bubble gum ice cream that I bought, $12 for a pack of 30 popsicles, and $5 for a pack of 18 specialty popsicles.

Lastly, they also had mixed ice cream/popsicle boxes as indicated in other reviews but those did not look to be as great deals. I will...

Bendick's Ice Cream Factory carries a wide variety of frozen treats, including many premium name brand ice creams at wholesale prices. We decided to go check them out to see what kind of deals we could find. The best deal we found was 4 for $10. We got to pick 4 different tubs of ice cream...all of them different brands, for just $10.

I also couldn't resist buying a Melona brand  Ube ice cream bar for $2, so I could try it right away. I'd had my eye on this flavor in the supermarkets for awhile and this seemed like a great opportunity to finally try it without having to buy an entire box of it!
