Worst tantuni I’ve had in my life there was no sauce nor salt in the meat it was bland and hard. It smelled off and the ingredients were horrible in quality the tomatoes weren’t even diced properly like you would expect in a traditional tantuni. The meat just felt like it was microwaved and burned my tongue it was extremely hot and I could not eat it for more than 15 minutes. The food they serve is nothing like turkish food, and I don’t think understand why would you serve tantuni with ketchup and relish?? There were also no tissues at all at the tables. The restaurant just feels like it is operated by someone who has never been in a kitchen in their life and everything is extremely overpriced for their portion sizes. Just avoid at all costs it sucks that there are so many fake reviews...
Read moreThe best donair in the greater vancouver area and it's not even close. They marinate their own meat as opposed to every other place that buys their meat from the same factory. This place offers incredible flavor in each bite and the pita is thick and crispy. I also tried the burek. I've been to bosnia and croatia, ate authentic burek several times. This place does it better than the motherland. Crispy, flaky, light. No extra grease or oil, perfection. Other established donair/burek places better step up or They will lose business to caspian flame.
My only critique is the price. You are paying a premium but you are getting a premium...

Calling it Turkish food?
They told me they were Turks but once I started speaking Turkish to them they admitted they were not from Turkey but in fact from Azerbaijan.
I am proud of my Turkish culture and am concerned with your misappropriation of it - be proud of your Azerbaijan culture! ♡
Stop misrepresenting yourself to people, and your misappropriation of Turkish identity. Be proud of being from...
