Music was extremely loud at guest sitting area. When asked very politely abt turning it a bit lower, was told that they do not accept outside food. (No sign in the store nor was told by staff, was having a quick lunch and brought all garbage out of store) The tall male staff with a cap on looked very grumpy and didn’t respond me at all. Don’t feel welcomed although I bought bubble tea with them. The other chatime locations that I’ve been to never had this issue. Last time I was here, I paid tips, I really really really regret it. This place just want you to buy bubble tea and leave. There is no sense of customer service or even manners.
I would suggest the owner to learn from their neighbour next door: the Lin Restaurant. They always provide excellent customer service with great food.
Sometimes the negative review help you to learn, not just to give you headaches. It is a chance for improvement. If you think back and walk in customers shoes, you should be able to understand. After all it is a bubble tea shop, not a pickup location.
The people who leave reviews here are trying to share their thoughts with you for improvement, not looking for trouble.
Doing business is not about just collecting profit and let people go. And whenever a communication problem happen, try to communicate directly instead of passive aggressively make the music extremely loud and don’t talk back to customers. The customers don’t own the shop. They don’t know your rules. They just showed up at your door and bought your products.
If you have rules, please put up a sign or let them know. Playing very loud music when there’s no one else in the store on top of customers head is a behaviour of bullying. It’s not solving the issue because your customer doesn’t know what is going on in your head.
The solution for similar situation for you is very easy. Either have a sign in the store, or just friendly remind customer that outside food is not allowed.
Nobody knows your rule unless they are told. If you own a store, you own the responsibility to tell the rules. Your customers are not your enemy, they are your chance to make money or learn.
Please reconsider the situation. It is a very hurtful experience at this bubble tea and I wish you improve on the matter so no more people get super loud music out of no where and bullied by...
Read moreIt's about the worst costumer service I've ever received in Vancouver. Went there to get the free drink that I commulated on the loyalty card on the app. The cashier tried to scan my card but the machine didn't work. The girl then started yelling at her coworker and shook the machine while complaining this is the worst.. it never works blablabla (pretty much making a scene), which made it very awkward for me waiting in the front of the line. When the coworker came over to help, she asked why do you need it. The cashier said she (pointing at me) wants to get a free drink. The coworker goes why? like she's offended by what she's heard. Then I showed her the free drink showing on my phone and said, because I received this.
I think the company needs to train your employees how to deliver a great costumer service because even if you have a loyalty program in place, it won't work when your employees make customers feel bad about getting a free drink you offered.
Plus, I could taste the tea power because it's not quite blended. This didn't happen when I ordered the same tea in Robson st. Will not come to this location again even it's so much...
Read moreChatime is a staple in bubble tea. I went here to do a little homework before a social event. I ordered a hot milk tea with bubbles. The staff member who took my order was okay, not particularly memorable in her interaction. I think she may have been new because of reasons late on. Anyways, my order takes a bit started, which is reasonable. The person who took my order then tries to put the plastic sealing on it but didn't separate something and spills some of the tea. She tries again and ends up spilling more. She then goes to the back a takes a good long time to come back with another staff member, who then pours my tea into another cup and puts a separate plastic lid on it. At this point I'm missing 50-100 ml of tea and there is a dribble of tea on the side they try to cover with a sleeve. I decide not to make a big deal because I'll be sitting there for a while. Later, when another person orders a hot tea, a different staff member serves them, doesn't spill anything and puts the plastic seal on it. This place is alright but they need to train and supervise their new...
