Horrible! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The first time I went here was when they first opened (a year ago?). The sushi was good enough to satisfy my sushi cravings. Today is my 2nd time going there to grab a snack during my break. I got the spicy salmon sushi and it wasnt from the fridge, it was made on the spot. The salmon has a weird gooey, slimy, texture. I am assuming they were serving me old salmon. I saw the person making the sushi put two pieces of salmon on the sushi and then took it out and exchange for these other two pieces. I didnt think much of it. I was hungry so I ate it quickly without noticing until I ate half of it how disgusting the texture was and it didnt taste good. The sushi didnt really taste like anything. No salmon flavour and the sauce wasn't spicy. The texture was disgusting. I feel nauseous afterwards. Maybe the cooked sushi would be better? But regardless, I will NOT...

Two experiences so far, will keep going. Very good value. First time was a large ish pickup order. Eta was reasonable, the food was good overall. One of the rolls (Alaskan? Salmon?) was a bit on the salty side, but otherwise, decent overall - we ordered donburis and rolls and tempura, I am the picky one. Second time was an unplanned stop after work. Saw the roll combo in the refrigerated/to-go section, and asked them to make one for me on the spot cause I wasn't in a rush. It was made quite quickly, and when I got home everything tasted good. We had a fabulous sashimi Donburi and Udon Noodle Soup today at this is cute, authentic little Japanese spot that opened in March of 2020.

Being a small place with lots of traffic, ingredients don’t sit around getting old and fresh fish is delivered at least twice a week.

There’s also a cooler full of quick takeaway meals. Nothing is kept overnight, it’s made fresh each day.

We were also delighted with the respectful and fast service.
