UPDATE: Covid might be closed or only take out. Bad thing about this place is it's getting too popular!!! This is a gem of a find!!!!! AND I'm not kidding at all. Vietnamese place that only has vegetarian and vegan options. How cool is that.....They have different kinds of veggies and stuff of vegetarians to choose from. THE FOOD EVEN TASTES GOOD! Coming back to this place now instead of The One. They have free tea and hot water dispensers. They also sell pre-homemade stuff in their fridge. I probably will buy their stuff soon. Clean place and I hope the keep it that way. No grime or dust. Therefore I conclude that this place is new. Over heared a mid-caucasian father bringing in 2 kids saying that this is their favourite place. Mind blown. Now there's 2 families I see right now getting food. Weee! -1 🌟 for the smell!!!! Could you please please put some candles or something to take off the chlorine smell out. I know it's a clean place but it deterred me from my first experience. But after I tasted their food, I forgave them. +1 🌟 The less people who come here the quieter place for me 5to enjoy my food here!!!

Best Veggie Pho. I have been to lots of other vegetarian places that sell vegetarian Pho and it's either too bland or way too much noodles. I love the sweetness of the veggie broth and variety of veggies and extras like tofu and cha(veggie meat). Their com ba mau is also good but I usually go here when I have a pho craving. The place is run more like in a self serve fashion so you get your food on a tray then bring it back to the table. I think the proceeds goes to the nunnery upstairs so I always remember temple food is the best food.

Very disappointed. I’ve been wanting to try this spot for a long time now and finally did today. We ordered the #3, #4, and salad rolls. Everything was very underwhelming. I did not want to believe the negative reviews on here showing how little filling there was in the banh mi but they were right. See photos. The salad rolls were the same, very small, like the size of a large finger and lacked the ingredients listed. Maybe we ordered the wrong items but frankly I won’t be back nor would I recommend. I wish I had a better experience.

Found this gem while trying to acquire contraband Legos off of Craigslist. Right before the shady deal was about to go down, I found myself in need of sustenance. The drop was supposed happen "close to Joyce Station" (I've been instructed not to give any more detail) and as I was trying to find somewhere to park that wasn't permit only, the green sign caught my eye. "Dharma Garden Veggie Deli," I thought to myself, "what kind of veggies grow in a Dharma Garden?"

I was in need of some energy in case the deal went south, so I decided to check it out. In case it was a trap, I made sure to sweep the place for bugs. Nothing. So I went to the counter to order.

"A number four," I said in my best Darth Vader voice in case the conversation was being recorded.

"Any drink," the woman at the counter asked.

I wasn't sure if it was code or not, so I answered "The crow caws twice at dawn."

"Four dollars," she replied. I was in!

Anyway, the Vietnamese sub was delicious on a white, toasted bun, and the filling tasted like they had some experience in the Vietnamese sub-making business. The next time, I might order a drink. And yes, I...

Had an awesome first experience at Dharma Garden Veggie Deli. I was in the area and happened to stumble upon this hidden little Vietnamese corner shop. I'm not vegetarian/vegan but was definitely intrigued by their vegan "meat" options in their Bahn Mi's.

I got the #3 and #4 Bahn Mi to share with my partner, and man were they delicious. I was a little sad to see that they didn't have a vegan mayo in it, but the flavour of the "meat" made up for it. As a meat eater myself, it was so good that I would 100% go back and try more food from their menu.

Also, I read some reviews saying the people working there were rude. I really don't think that's the case at all. They were super hospitable and kind. Yeah sure, there was a bit of a language barrier, but they were so patient in trying to understand us and vice versa. Overall, this was a...
